I briefly played with components, pasted screenshots, and drew rectangles & shapes (80% of UI design is drawing rectangles :-). Yet to play with Prototypes.
Kudos to the team... extremely impressive alpha.
Model S/X has better suspension.
Wishlist:
1) App Screen Dimension (iphone, ipad etc)
2) A way to resize the Dimensions (longer, leaner, shorter etc)
3) Popups, Modals
4) Micro interactions (menu on/off)
5) A way to annotate, add sticky-notes on the canvas.
6) Whiteboard type of pen tool to markup areas (ex: this block is for next sprint)
7) A play button to preview the site (clickthro)
Thanks again for sharing!
I dont see any video attached..
Edit: Just saw the url in your profile (pxcode.io). Does it work with Figma as well?
Maybe Virus is akin to a SEED. Seeds are inert/dead by themselves, but it carries as all the code/DNA/instructions needed to spring to life, flourish & even reproduce infinitely when put in an friendly environment (nourished soil with water, O2 etc)

A Note On Web Applications Added to the Home Screen
As mentioned, the seven-day cap on script-writable storage is gated on after seven days of Safari use without user interaction on the site.” That is the case in Safari. Web applications added to the home screen are not part of Safari and thus have their own counter of days of use. Their days of use will match actual use of the web application which resets the timer. We do not expect the first-party in such a web application to have its website data deleted.
If your web application does experience website data deletion, please let us know since we would consider it a serious bug. It is not the intention of Intelligent Tracking Prevention to delete website data for first parties in web applications.
As a non-programmer (UX), I used to watch Polymer with so much interest, since it had HTML tag-like syntax. I copy paste component codes & construct an UI. There was simplicity in <googlemaps lat="89.2" long="123.2" draggable="false"></googlemaps>
Now with lit-html, it went from unique HTML/WebComponent for non-coders, to another one of the JS frameworks out there.
Free shipping on Prime items is just a bonus. They have added free overnight, free next day 8AM and even sameday 6pm for my zipcode. Cutoff is noon for same day delivery! I do not see a huge pricemarkup, and sometimes I dont even need to order $35 worth of items. The two toys I ordered was $5 & $8 each, it got delivered 8AM next day,
It was a Disney movie - but he wasnt ready to sit thro character buildup etc, and complained the cartoon was too "long". I thought he lacked patience due to watching Youtube fastcut episodes (GuavaJuice and such), then I saw him watching 45mins of a hand opening candy wrappers one by one, patiently folding it, then opening the next one. I dont know what to make of it :)
Briefly thought of BMW i3, but once I tested Model3 & played with its Autopilot on stop/go commute - Teslas are years ahead of the game. Best part is, they can only get better.
- The very thought of dealership, auto repair shops feels very old now. I had a problem with my left indicator stalk, booked an appointment in the same Tesla app, a mobile mech pulled up, took out the whole driving wheel unit and fixed it on the spot.
- They have bi-monthly, monthly updates (feels like our software dev 2 week sprints) where they release NEW features, yes, brand new features... not just bug fixes or improvements.
The Model3 body feels like a frame-housing with an ever improving hardware/software under it to constantly make it better n better.
It feels like the iPhones vs Nokia smart phones debate in 2010.
how does that square with
>I am a front-end developer on an H1 visa.
So let me get this straight, other immigrant's jobs can be easily done by locals with minimal training, hence it is a scam. BUT your 'front-end skills' are so unique that no other American can do it?
Figma is eating their lunch. It does what Sketch does & much much more - in the browser.
I moved from Sketch to Adobe XD to Figma. Not going back.
Standard Range (230miles) -> $39K (Spring 2021)
Long Range (300miles) -> $47K (Fall 2020)
Dual ($51k) Performance ($60k) (Fall 2020)
I used Industry heavyweight Photoshop for 15+ years, Sketch for 4 and dropped everything for Figma[1] after playing with it for 2 days. Now my UX comps, UI sketches all available EVERYWHERE. All inspirations, rough concepts all stacked away in any browser I have access to. I move to different machines a lot (Macs/Windows). Used to carry around a USB stick (synced to Dropbox from my home computer).
Now it is nirvana - No syncing, No dropboxing or figuring out where my prototypes, v1, 'final-final-v1-1-edit-final' files, & source files are. Not only the files are available, but the viewer to view those files are right there.
