AirPods becoming e-waste? Seriously? Pick a better idea to make your point, because pretty much everyone I know has had their AirPods for 2-3+ years, and even if that was _when_ they decided to move onto another, that's an _incredibly_ long amount of time to have wireless earbuds of those quality at that price point.
And as for disabling features on the Apple Watch - again, seriously? Most techie, HN'y complaint ever. There's a reason the Apple Watch and AirPods sell as well as they do - people love them.
As for awe at new features - AirPods live translation, standard iPhones being ProMotion, one of the thinnest phones ever created?
This is just a terrible opinion piece.
Does the time invested into the planning benefit you? Have you noticed less hallucinations? Have you saved time overall?
I’d be curious to hear because my current workflow is basically
1. Have idea
2. create-next-app + ShadCN + TailwindUI boilerplate
3. Cursor Composer on agent mode with Superwispr voice transcription
I’m gonna try the author’s workflow regardless, but would love to hear others opinions.
It is incredible, and it genuinely feels like magic when it comes to codebase context.
Not hating or sarcasm - I also hated onboarding to clay and I consider myself to be not dumb. If that is the goal, and your GTM strategy, I think it’s a good one.
I also think clay is ridiculously expensive - you could win there too.
I saw this this morning - it really made me think about what the future of 1-man non technical founder startups will look like. https://x.com/0xluffyb/status/1825854097481736479?s=42&t=7-X...
Some questions:
1) I’m assuming by “personalizing discount across users”, you mean personalized one-time coupon codes? I wonder if the UX of seeing one price in regular Chrome and one in incognito would be upsetting. I also don’t know how price discrimination works but seems relevant?
2) I’d love to understand more about how for smaller retailers there’ll be enough data to make meaningful discount programs for a limited set of consumers? Will data from similar/multiple retailers be bucketed?
3) Any numbers/data on effectiveness so far?
Most things or demos I send are horizontal, but I agree, the automatic shorts of vertical is annoying
Slap some paint on the ground, put up a booth and a sign, and you’re good?
Whereas an elevated garage is probably a years-long project?
I also think most of these parking lots are probably owned by small time chumps, not consolidated mega parking companies.
I wasn't alive for this, but I understand candy cigarettes used to be popular, and they were advertised at children, but the government cracked down on it. I know Internet astroturfing like I'm describing is a different beast, but I guess what I'm wondering is what the future of advertisement regulation looks like?
