rademacher··on The ‘Real You’ Is a Myth
I'd argue parental influence falls under genetics and environment, assuming your genes come from your parents.

I wonder if people who are more adept at creating and selective recall of memories tend to be happier individuals.

I agree completely. Cost of living is dominated by your housing expense, so to scale you're basically just looking at the net delta in rent or mortgage divided by the tax rate, so like current_salary + rent_delta/0.6 seems a reasonable way to find a break even point.

I've heard similar arguments about age and physics. I've always theorized that as time progresses the body of work one must be familiar with in order to make new contributions grows as well. We should therefore expect that in modern times, major contributions should come from more experienced individuals.

The relationship is cT/2, where c is the speed of light, and T is the pulse length, if the waveform is CW. Note that in this case T can limit the minimum range you can detect. Or you can use c/(2B) where B is the bandwidth of the signal as you stated. I believe the limit is wavelength/2 for resolution though.
