publiush··on Show HN: Decentralized, Mutable, Serverless Torrent Swarm Websites
This is a project I've been working on to create decentralized, peer to peer, "serverless" websites using several technologies including webtorrent, dmt (mutable torrent BEP-46), and handshake decentralized domains.

You can create either an immutable (uneditable) torrent site, or you can create a ed25519 keypair and create a mutable (updatable) torrent site.

This is great for blogging, whistle blowing, and other things. It also scales well since torrent technology is great although it had previous been pigeonholed to other use cases.

Please give it a try and let me know your thoughts! I don't take any credit for this since I just weaved the great technologies others already made together!

It is thanks to Julian that we know how important information is.
publiush··on Show HN: Federalist, an un-censorable browser for the swarm
I spent a 24 hour hackathon to scratch an itch and wanted to share. While the UX could have been more streamlined, this is a POC.

1. Publiush publishes and seeds a torrent magnet.

2. A web3 "handshake" name points to the magnet.

3. Federalist is a simple interface on webtorrent which downloads and displays the torrent.

It's using existing technologies and mashes them up to create a peer to peer browsing experience.

I thought it was pretty cool and wanted to hack it together and see what it looked like!

Hope this clarifies and hope you like it. It's a POC so the code is minimal and easy to check.

Edit: The 24 hours was mostly reading haha

publiush··on Show HN: Peer to peer Web3 swarm browser
[SS]: Using torrents, magnets and Handshake, you can host peer to peer web3 swarms instantly. You can use https://github.com/publiusfederalist/publius to publish or your favorite torrent client. Since records are stored directly on chain, without a third-party blockable NS, these are difficult to stop.

The more popular a swarm becomes, the more unstoppable.

Swarm onward.
