It has nothing to do with speech but everything to do with making sure they know who's in charge. None of them will say anything about this. Despicable.

Unsure why there's a discrepancy. You're probably right re: taskbar buttons.

This was my burnout recovery project in April of 2020. Very much a labor of love and a surprising way to realize I still liked programming. I wrote some scattered thoughts here [0]
I also "run" this project quite differently than I usually do - when I receive a pull request instead of merging it I do a quick glance through the user's github to make sure they're not a spammer before giving them _commit access_ and asking them to merge their own PR [1]. It has worked wonders.
It feels like the logical end state of "clever" code, for better or for worse. Or, alternatively, what happens when a standard library is gigantic but each keyword is 1-2 characters.
Love it :)
How does it feel to author prose with this? I noticed the text isn't directly editable (wysiwyg) and starting to think that's probably the right trade-off.
My M1 Pro (work computer) is such a leap from my old intel machine. It's wild to be running our services locally with Docker, install Xcode, and take a Zoom call without so much as hearing the fans. Battery lasts all day. Don't know if I'd fork over that much money myself, though.
