https://github.com/paperscapeCan you please enlighten us about the technical details behind the scene, right from collecting the data to processing it.
I'm also working with a large graph entity and would love to read about your process.
- Joey Tribbiani, Friends episode 10.11
'Moon landing was a hoax'First off, thanks for taking your time in writing this.
Sorry for being unclear as you have commented on this already.
> How do you make sure that the user experience is what it needs to be?
is a different question than
> How do you start the process that you come up with such interesting interfaces.
What I actually meant was "How do you work on initial prototype for a product"? > That's because your goal isn't "interesting." You're not
> making a design to impress other designers, or to create
> something novel, or to challenge your developers. You're making
> a design to solve a problem for a person that isn't you.
Yeah, this seems a nice advice, till now I was doing just
opposite of what you're suggesting. For that, you can change your title like this, "Ask HN : <Your Current Title>"
Fatal error: Call to undefined function page_open_html() in /var/www/hnmob.org/webroot/about.php on line 10I haven't used it but I sense that it's good.
wget https://gist.githubusercontent.com/jorin-vogel/7f19ce95a9a842956358/raw/e319340c2f6691f9cc8d8cc57ed532b5093e3619/data.json
echo "Name,Credit Card" > `date +"%Y%m%d.csv"`
jq -r '.[] | select(.creditcard) | .name+","+.creditcard' data.json >> !$But it doesn't seems to look properly at the meaning of content though.
I mean, I think it just finds the first presence of what the given pattern is and generates the result.
For example, I attempted this, with input data as date/time.
input data:
2015-09-15T09:15:17-05:00
1998-11-05T08:15:21-05:00
1999-01-03T04:33:30-05:00
2000-11-05T09:16:00-05:00
pattern: 09:15 on 09-15
result: 09:15 on 09-15
11:05 on 11-05
01:03 on 01-03
11:05 on 11-05
What I was expecting: 09:15 on 09-15
08:15 on 11-05
04:33 on 01-03
09:16 on 11-05
Although I helped it at certain level by using the same special character pattern the input data has.And as I was afraid, it doesn't handle special characters, neither uses them in the process either, as @j2kun has mentioned in a comment.
But, it is promising at some point and have nice use cases too. :)
Can I ask, how can you miss the exact shortest path for puzzles in its version-1? I mean did you just used hard-coded levels or what?
sorry, lesson learned.
> Never comment on HN when it's already 2 AM, you must be sleepy.
By the way, let's be more pedantic. It lakes the termination condition for recursion.
I remember last year contributing[1] to a 2048 python game, where the maintainer committed[2] test suite lengthy than my commit and He was doing it like a charm.
I think I should start from that very repository as I know it very well already.
1. https://github.com/bfontaine/term2048/commits?author=pravj
2. https://github.com/bfontaine/term2048/commit/6f9a46283c2cc0a...
Things were wrong momentarily.
1) Sorry for not following the Guideline, It just went out of my mind. Lesson learned, won't repeat.
Actually this is first time I'm doing something practically with data, so gradually I'll try to learn things and minimize my mistakes.
2) Yes, you're right. I'll change it.
3) Honestly speaking, I was getting the X-axis ruler all mixed up because I was plotting 'repository name' on X-axis. So as a workaround I made a new column of digits, that fits in the image.
I believe these points are not contributing in breaking API :D so lets talk on them first.
2. You mean instead of an array I'm using here [1], We should add them as constants and write separate documentation for each? This sounds nice as it will help obviously like you said.
3. Ohh, I missed this convention, thanks for pointing this out. :)
4. As you said its more of a judgement call, I believe that RGB strings are fine and easy for users. You find any wrong in RGB strings?
So, I'll be very happy to co-operate if you are doing pull request covering points 2 and 3 :) And I'll try to cover your point 1 on my own :)
Cheers \o/
