But Vision Pro probably won't give you an open mind or a good imagination.
If this were a truly must have app & I could get past the price, I'd enjoy it with the concern that most features could be incorporated into devtools directly, by browser makers or by other extensions that expand what devtools can do, although many features of this tool already can be achieved. In fact, I think that's the real missing feature in this service: it could be an web extension for augmenting CSS work devtools.
Lastly, what if the price started at $15/month and for every 250,000 (maybe less, maybe more) new users everyone's price was dropped by a $0.50/month but could never drop below $3/month. By the time the price hits $5/month there are at least 5 million subscribers ... (with no annual plans & no life time bananas plan) that seems pretty good.
* devtools is pretty awesome & pretty consistent in every browser.
(Oh, and I'm super cheap, too.)
To me, it still seems less advantageous to try something that seemed as stable as Neeva with a 1 year subscription, month to month is okay. That’s what I’ll likely do for a Kagi subscription…
I’ve discovered saving by using the annual plan was a mistake. I’ll avoid that mistake if I try Kagi or something else.
But really miss Neeva’s integrations that were cancelled recently. Having the ability to search my GitHub repos & the internet simultaneously was pretty cool. Add to that Notion, and other services. It was great for the the 4 months it was around but with 8 months left, I feel ripped off but it doesn’t seem worth getting too worked up over.
Just can’t let that happen again.

-- For someone in the Computer Science department.
-- A different prompt tool (like Bard even)
I hope this terrible form of evaluation & judgement doesn't affect our legal system.
It also makes me wonder if an Android “container” could run as an app on an iPhone. Maybe sideloading leads to that?
If it’s dead and you’re looking to replace the iPhone mini 12 or 13 (refurbished or new 13) are great options.
That said building for web, iOS, Android, consoles, PCs, macOS and so on means trying to be consistent for your service. Which then leads to issues & challenges, and less consistency with respect to competitors.
I’d be curious to know how often people tend to favor whichever service they used first, and how often people grow tired of services they really like for content but hate for subjectively bad user experience.
I’m not in the market for this type of bank, but software update reliability is important… As important as things like 2FA maybe not? But this seems like a non-trivial mistake.
I really think however small there is value, and it’s still fair to reply “file a bug report.”
"This Is A Thing
This is an exploration of the idea that we can't control everything in our lives, but that we do have some agency in how we feel. This was inspired by writings from Seneca, Epictetus, and other Stoic thinkers. I hope you enjoy it!
If you have suggestions or notice any bugs, please feel free to contact the developer."
Just a thought ... move the "Click anywhere to begin" to initial text from above. Including that explanation upfront might make clicking to begin a little more comfortable.
To me, Search is the number 1 need. And would be cool if an extension that added a button to bookmark pages visited could also introspect every page I visit to look through old bookmarks & show a count in a separate button to view similar related pages I've already visited.
But if I look at a 1 year old used vehicle, prices seem to normalize and become much more consistent. Using Carvana & CarMax, the price of a Bronco Sport seems to be free and clear of arbitrary markup.
So what is the allure of new? And of buying used from a dealership? They both seem like really bad choices. But maybe there’s some real benefit to new I’m missing? I’m seriously in the market & see a video like this and feel that it reinforces my opinion that I’m better off with a used vehicle for the sake of depreciation I’m avoiding and the nightmare of doing business with price gougers.
