Additionally Xtranormal missed out on the generative video curve
This turn of phrase says everything to be honest.
They clearly enjoy watching and digesting information from YouTube- the biggest platform for this. But people need to make money from it hence the ailment these these plugins remedy
I feel this is similar to what you are pointing out. Why _shouldn’t_ people be the “magic” users. When was the last time one of your average devs looked in to how esm loading? Or the python interpreter or v8? Or how it communicates with the OS and lower level hardware interfacing?
This is the same thing. Only you are goalpost shifting.
60% of the time, it works every time. - Amazing how Anchor Man predicted this.
That said, I do wonder if its corpus of training data contained that much information on your subject. It is rather niche is it - compared to cooking recipes, or basic software development techniques of 2 years ago, or chemistry, maths and physics.
My friend is a leading research chemist and he, and one other person in china, are working on this one particular field - individually - so there would be little information out there. I asked ChatGPT 4o to give an overview of what he was doing based on the little information I knew. He was astounded. It got it spot on. I asked it to elaborate and to come up with some new direction for research and the ideas it spat out were those he had considered and more.
Give svelte(kit) a go, I enjoy it
I don’t think this has any truth outside of causing such argument. I am sure there is a paper on it that showed negligible difference for different layouts.
I used to use Dvorak but then I stopped when I was around 17? Qwerty for life.
I can’t conceptualise this. How? Surely this is the same as humans where if you had a big enough uniformly lit object in front of you, you couldn’t “see” it?
It has worked for 10+ years - is that really doing it wrong, or just doing it in a way different from you.
> into something that looks good
Is this a requirement? Or just out of being particular?
>squashed […] before review
Is deleting (obfuscating) the history of your approach (chain of thought) important to you? The reviewer will review the last commit anyway (always) so is this necessary other than subjective neatness? This can be squashed at the point it is merged
It appears you are very efficient at git. I am having difficulty understanding the real utility of much you described. I wonder if it is a justification for finding the fun in using more uncommon features of git, or for “neatness”? Which is fine.
I have only worked on huge applications that take ages to spin up so bisect was never really an option.
> start doing something unrelated to the task I would change branch to that — if I ever had liberty to change priorities like that.
I have not tried git switch thank you
