pelorat··on The Palantir's Stasi Protocols
Palantir is an evil pro-technocracy, anti-democratic company run my an actual fascist that wants to divide up the world into masters and slaves?
pelorat··on I run multiple $10K MRR companies on a $20/month tech stack
This is how every website used to be run before everyone fell four the cloud trap.
pelorat··on The Pentagon Threatened Pope Leo XIV's Ambassador with the Avignon Papacy
To be fair most self-proclaimed MAGA Christians in the USA are heretics. So this is not really surprising.
pelorat··on Epic Games to cut more than 1k jobs as Fortnite usage falls
They have way too many employees for what they do.
pelorat··on 4Chan mocks £520k fine for UK online safety breaches
The US special forces also committed several acts of murder on Venezuelan soil
pelorat··on 4Chan mocks £520k fine for UK online safety breaches
The USA doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to human rights.
pelorat··on 4Chan mocks £520k fine for UK online safety breaches
This is of course fine, if you intend to never travel internationally. Not defending any one, Ofcom is terrible just like 4chan.
pelorat··on Elon Musk pushes out more xAI founders as AI coding effort falters
This is veiled speak for "No one wants to work for us, so we need to contact rejected applicants to fill positions".

I use AI for work, but not agentic, at most per method/function using GitHub CoPilot (which has Grok on it).

Grok is at best useful for commenting code.

pelorat··on Elon Musk pushes out more xAI founders as AI coding effort falters
Same, I earn 60K as a senior, but I would never accept a 200K+ position at xAI.
pelorat··on Ministry of Justice orders deletion of the UK's largest court reporting database
You can always visit the court, and you know, sit in.

Most media in Europe are required to ambiguate names of criminals. For instance by removing the first name or the last name.
pelorat··on Major European payment processor can't send email to Google Workspace users
I've never heard of them. Looks to be a company from Greece. That would explain their reply. Not exactly known for their tech.
pelorat··on Erdos 281 solved with ChatGPT 5.2 Pro
Getting the architecture mostly right, so it's easy to maintain and modify in the future is IMO hard part, but I find that this is where AI shines. I have 20 years of SWE experience (professional) and (10 hobby) and most of my AI use is for architecture and scaffolding first, code second.
pelorat··on Common misunderstandings about large software companies
Indeed. Most people who seek employment at big tech do so because of the money, not because of the mission.
pelorat··on Scott Adams has died
I mean he tried treating his cancer with Ivermectin instead of seeking treatment from medical professionals.
pelorat··on Cloudflare CEO on the Italy fines
Elon/Thiel/Miller are the de-factory leaders of your country, and Trump and Vance are their puppets.
pelorat··on Cloudflare CEO on the Italy fines
They can't even say "fuck" on TV in the USA, and god forbit a female nipple
pelorat··on Cloudflare CEO on the Italy fines
We have plenty of cloud providers, most are on national levels, not international levels.
pelorat··on Cloudflare CEO on the Italy fines
The USA was always on the path on becoming a corpocracy, not a democracy. Musk/Thiel and their puppet JD Vance has cemented it.
pelorat··on X blames users for Grok-generated CSAM; no fixes announced
Jokes on xAI. Europe doesn't have a Section 230 and the responsibility fall squarely on the platform and its owners. In Europe, AI generated or photoshopped CSAM is treated the same as actual abuse-backed CSAM if the depiction is realistic. Possession and distribution are both serious crimes.

The person(s) ultimately in charge of removing (or preventing the implementation of) Grok guardrails might find themselves being criminally indicted in multiple European countries once investigations have concluded.

pelorat··on The C3 Programming Language
That would be C# ?

pelorat··on Trump says Venezuela’s Maduro captured after strikes
And what are they going to to do against the militias and military that are loyal to Maduros political party?

I'll tell you. Nothing. They are going to do nothing. Because they can't.

pelorat··on Trump says Venezuela’s Maduro captured after strikes
Not a chance in hell. The regime is 100% intact. Maria Corina Machado would be executed the moment she lands. A complete military takeover will follow the ousting of Maduro.
pelorat··on Trump says Venezuela’s Maduro captured after strikes
Among my European friends, no one considers the USA to be a legitimate democracy any more. The USA has for us devolved into a bandit state.
pelorat··on IPv6 just turned 30 and still hasn't taken over the world
IPv6 also makes it unfeasible to scan the whole address space, unlike IPv4 which is regularly scanned.
pelorat··on Stranger Things creator says turn off “garbage” settings
If your TV supports a "gaming" mode, I always recommend enabling that, because it usually turns off all the "enhancements".

TV's should not try to be anything more than a large monitor.

pelorat··on Best practices for long-run LED strip installs (20–50M) to avoid flicker?
Being a home tinkerer that have a few meters of LED strips, I'd use multiple drivers.
pelorat··on Asking Gemini 3 to generate Brainfuck code results in an infinite loop
Saying "Asking Gemini 3" doesn't mean much. The video/animation is using "Gemini 3 Fast". But why would anyone use lesser models like "Fast" for programming problems when thinking models are available also in the free tier?

"Fast" models are mostly useless in my experience.

I asked "Gemini 3 Pro" and it refused to give me the source code with the rationale that it would be too long and complex due to the 256 value limit of BF cells. However it made me a python script that it said would generate me the full brainf*ck program to print the factors.

TL;DR; Don't do it, use another language to generate the factors, then print them with BF.
