This is an honest question as someone who is seriously considering reading TBP in near future.
If you find yourself HOPELESS (which whole world is experiencing right now), just read this. Because this book is all about HOPE.
Edit: Go for the 'unabridged' version to truly experience this novel.

Just curious, what are the other languages that competes with Rust in terms of correctness, safety, ergonomics and efficiency?
Go is more on the ergonomics side and Haskell on the correctness side, but are there any serious alternatives for Rust that checks all the boxes?

But then again, we will never know about extremely creative yet poor people who are struggling to make ends meet and wasting their precious mental energy on things others take for granted.
But that does not discredit the original point (to which I was agreeing), that being poor is not an impediment to creativity.
Another problem with a framework especially for UI, is that you need a network effect, that is really a good chunk of people who had tried it in production and could vouch for it, so that other folks can atleast give a thought about giving it a try. This is important given the rate of UI framework churn and JS fatigue that people have gone through in recent times.
Personally, as an UI engineer who has familiarity with almost all of the existing libraries/frameworks/toolchains this looks refreshing and would not mind trying it out.
I read Robin Buss Unabridged version from penguin for "The Count of Monte Cristo".
Also, some of other interesting books I forgot to mention in my original list
- How to Change Your Mind (don't be put off by title)
- Meditations, Marcus Aurelius (good peek into the mind of one of the greatest emperors of all time)
Other books which I find interesting
- The Slight Edge
- Sapiens
- The Master and Margarita (apart from the fact it is a great novel, this is so wickedly funny )
Unlike other professions, software is ambigously placed in between art and commerce. Perhaps, the only art form that drives commerce heavily compared to music/painting etc. Just like there are no certifying bodies for qualified painters/sculptors/musicians (even if they exist, they are not stopping actual artists creating and sharing stuff), creating a certifying body for software will not take anyone anywhere.
Why does the website showcase outdated content? Personally, I will drop off at this point. You might have put this message pre 2018, but you should keep the landing page up-to-date.
Also, as one of the other commenters pointed out, you should spend some extra bucks and proof read the landing page. Sentences like "And cheap perpetual license after that" does not go well for most customers who are willing to shell money for a product. If your product is worth it, people will pay for it.
Tech is just a part of the equation. If you don't take care of other stuffs like messaging you are sending wrong signals to your potential users.
