oneTbrain23··on The US Might Be Only AA+
Unfortunately that cant work as you like. UK has their Feds too and can print more easily than US but debts require purchase. Saudi and China already stop buying. Liquidity of T-bills have dropped drastically compare what it was 10 years ago. Now Fed can step in and buy those debts pumping printed money directly to US government coffers. This in turn fire up inflation. Already many countries actively aboid using USD. Reduction of using USD in worldwide commerce now hit back American shores. So as long as US governments not reigning the expenditure, Fed showing printing money DIRECTLY, inflation will keep penalising Americans. This time, there are alternatives compare to 70s. People can migrate. Immigrant can stop migrating to USA (Asians now stopped significantly migrating and investing in US in the last 3 years). Anytging Americand needed like Russian uranium and Chinese goods are now sold to American market via blackmarket. This in turn fuel the criminal organization. This is why Americans now facing rampant crimes as the increase in crime couldnt be match by law enforcement. So all this talk of ignoring debt ceiling already happening since a decade ago and the repercussions already in the works. The more you want to ignore the ceiling the more of the above hitting Americans.

Doubt so. Many employees dont know even how to write VBA macros even though they use Excel for decade (I have bosses superb at Excel and PPT use but just not at VBA macros level). IT is harder than you think most employees arent that smart to be able to self learn IT stuff because it has real brain burner technical stuff. DEI lacks any technical competencies. Mostly just aggregates of opinions bundled as "scientific research" in social studies faculties around worldwide unis. You should use other examples. Information security is clearly not good example to illustrate your point.
oneTbrain23··on Russia’s army is learning and improving on the battlefield
Most likely USA will be destroyed. Most American nukes are in their 50s-60s. USA also has a doctrine to cut loses as can be seen in Vietnam and Afghanistan. A quick sucessions of tactical nukes on American carrier fleets and pre-emptive strikes on 30 of American top cities will render American surrender. Even if they decide to launch, their ballistic nukes are interceptable, their satelites are now trailed by many Russian and Chinese satelite killers. As for F35, let just dig in that Israel F35 has been shotdown in Syria and likely another one F35 accident in Pacific in the last 24mths. Russia alone has about 20K nukes and deliverables with near 100% accuracy while USA THAAD and Patriots have been widely known as duds (Saud had to change their policies to make peace with Yemen and Syria because of poor American weaponry). By the way, USA imports Russian uranium. Considering John Titor's timeline America nuked and fractured in his timeline plus some East Asian prophecies about the fall of USA, I do believe WW3 would be a short one. The whole text of original Titor are in Library of Congress. Read that version. It did mentioned about Bill Gates and segway. Poles are widely known as military weak. Their only good one was their winged Hussars in medieval time. Already closed to 20K of theirs in Ukrainian as "mercs and volunteers" slaughtered. I dont think they willing to go WW3. They are too close to Russia, just purely on logistics, not enough Americans soldiers and artillery shells able to sustain Russian assault backed by Chinese factories. It is better they go for MYOB strategy. Doing Ukrainian or 80s Saddam-USA friendly Iraq policies are fatal. With Russians and Chinese establishing their influence in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Africa, and now Ukraine I just dont see how EU can do much. Already they have to content with x6 fuel price without Russia and Chinese now able to half thrir fuel cost thanks to Russians gas pipes....that is 12x advantage just on energy alone. If you look at IQ and labor cost, EU sre serious outnumbered. We not even counting massive industrial espionage to bring EU IPs into Russia and China.
oneTbrain23··on GPT detectors are biased against non-native English writers
In schools, my coursemates and I always plagiarised each other work. We also heavily do it via any other means like having a class pooled together funds for buying work done by outsiders. This span anything from quantum mechanics to even science fair projects. We ended passing many college course with near flying colors. What have we learnt by cheating? How to cheat better. We learnt how rephrase, rearrange assembly codes, reformat, etc. Some of us even develop program to do substitution and rephrasing. This was way before chatgpt. We did well with this skills as we apply it in corporate world plagiarising collegues works and even competitor a product. We even glorified how Samsung did it in early days of smartphone war era. I am sure my juniors in my high school and college will do the same with chatgpt. I can assure you we plagiarised and got away with it near 100% (unless some were lazy enough not to clean up their copy of plagiarise source material). Those that get caught will just have to learn to adapt. When you graduate from you college, ability to plagiarise is very important in your career (as long as non academia). You can tell if you know the persons tendency of dishonesty. If purely on work output, you are at best at coin toss or maybe those very low quality students. Back my days, we already have plagiarise detectors and even bots to detect plagiarised programming assignments. It is hard to tell. Chatgpt will adapt the output to be non perfect. Plagiariser will also adapt like my experience to de-chatgpt it. It has been done. It will be co tinue to do happen.
