The point is that many athletes are only at their peak for one or two Olympics. How rubbish for them that they're not able to get a fair shot at the record like others have had in the past.
I was initially thinking the obvious case would be some sort of system for monitoring your plant health. It could check for shrinkage / growth, colour change etc and build some sort of monitoring tool / automated watering system off that.
No one is is arguing subtitles are bad, it's the way this tries to increase engagement through abusing attention mechanisms, that I also agree with OP is likely damaging to us.
It's part of the many reasons I dislike the current short form media craze - horrible tactics like this are used more often than not.
Also set a healthy free limit, if people are already paying for one product, they're not going to want to pay for an API separately if they just want to make a few calls.
It does seem to fix itself - although a negative feedback mechanism would be nice!
Why does this have a different clause I wonder, and doesn't just fall under "In commercial products below 100,000 MAU"?
I guess it's a form of being able to vote with your wallet; forcing the manufacturers to spend additional money/time on QC.
I haven't actually used their app, can only attest to the results.
https://remini.ai/ is one such tool that actually delivers some pretty impressive results (no affiliation) just for reference.
No affiliation, just a happy user for over a year now.
If you take kindle highlights when you read, the https://github.com/hadynz/obsidian-kindle-plugin plugin is amazing for auto generating source files with those highlights in (and other templated sections you wish to include in a review).
Some feedback:
- Personally I think The GIF's on https://indiebackers.dev/learn make it look unprofessional. There's other ways to add some excitement to that page without just posting several generic meme's.
- Your only project has typo on sub-heading "Pitch innovative ideas >togehter< with sweet deals in turn for collaboration."
Have you not seen mobile app stores?
As you say though 10 mins is a small window, but they could have easily set a Conservative stop on doubling their money with only a 1% gain.
Best of luck OP, but I think you should post again once your idea has more substance.
To have no ability to determine whether a video, or image (or any media) is from a reliable source forever more, seems like a pretty bad place to be in - if this is what you're suggesting?
Couple of suggestions I'd need before using properly:
- Reset button
- Save to URL so I can quickly reload with same presets
I've gone nuclear and just have my home perma blocked using newsfeederadicator extension (works across a few sites), and shorts blocked in subscriptions via a ublock origin rule.
Are you actually able to use home / reccomendations using this solution (I opted out of both a long time ago for many of the reasons you state), or is it just to fix the terrible search results yt gives?
"Single Process" - Can be module based (Shopify), where multiple module's interact, but must be combined for deployment still, these module's can even extend to the DB's. Can still have multiple instances for performance
"Distributed Monolith" - This is one to fear the most, we have multiple services, yet there is still shared DB's meaning we have to deploy things together.
Both are monoliths but one is less susceptible to ball of mud. It's a sliding scale, with trade offs for each (and many variations still in between those listed).
I think it's a lack of common terminology surrounding monolith / micro-service that creates this binary illusion.
I consume exclusively from my subscription feed (which I review every few months).
In additionu ublock origin element blocker can be used to to remove shorts section in subscriptions - means I haven't seen shorts in a long time.
This had me wondering on the power of building a "warm up" exercise when we're trying to solve a problem - can we brute force an optimal activation hot paths for better problem solving (obviously it would be highly individual - but presumably such a thing exists given this fact).
It seems you would need a routine per category of problem, but none the less there may be more value than we think in spending 5 minutes just asking/answering some probing questions around the domain in question, before trying to solve the problem.
