nrbafna··on Cloud Save
It is useful if you're using a computer that is not yours.
nrbafna··on Cloud Save

Browser notification when someone comments on your post. Would that be useful?
nrbafna··on Show HN: Seinfeld Calendar webapp.
we wouldn't mind adding it, but it would create clutter on the calendar page.

though, a user can always sign-up for multiple accounts.

The status is automatically set as 'not done' if the user hasn't set it as 'completed' till the next day. The point was to keep the box open for today and the day before, so that even I complete the task late at night, I could mark the calendar the day after.

We did think of including multiple goals, but that would break the simplicity of the approach of the Seinfeld Calendar.

Basically, we tried to simulate the exact process if it were a physical calendar on your wall. Once you put on a "X" mark on a day, you can't erase it. The sign-up process was made really non-fussy so that a user wouldn't mind signing up for multiple accounts, but keep a single calendar per goal.

Thanks. No plans to monetize, as of now.

We loved going through the process of it, and will try to fix out any possible bugs.

The .co.cc or the sein-cal part?

it is supposed to be for iOS.
nrbafna··on How fast is the Internet at Google? Mind blowing.
It is is same all over the country. That's the only plan without any 'fair usage cap'. You might get 4Mbps for $55, but after 15GB of usage, the bandwidth will be cut down for the remaining month.

Also, 3G just launched in India. No more than 50 cities have it, and the maximum they can provide is 32Mbps, again with some fair usage cap!

nrbafna··on Dictionary of Algorithms and Data Structures
Don't know what's wrong there.

Anyways, it's just a width, line-height, font changes. Just to show a little bit of CSS could have helped and is just for the homepage. Could make a custom css for it, if you want. The site is immensely useful, though.

also, here's a screenshot if you want to compare. http://i.imgur.com/fnu8L.png. again, nothing big though :)

nrbafna··on Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal)
CompizGrid has been made default with edge bindings. Behaves much more like Aero Snap now.
nrbafna··on Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal)
Natty has Unity alongside GNOME by default. During login, selecting Ubuntu Classicial, in the bottom toolbar, will take to you GNOME environment.
nrbafna··on Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal)
Don't forget the Grid plugin (similar to Aero Snap) implemented by default. Drag the title bar to any edge of the screen to resize...
nrbafna··on Ubuntu Unity usability testing results and analysis
Well, they did use the shortcut.

It happens to me 90% of the time I use super+d.

nrbafna··on Ubuntu Unity usability testing results and analysis
I am really surprised one thing didn't come up. It's about the super+(?) shortcut.

If you press them very quickly, say 'super+D', then it will take to desktop and open dash as well. To be safe, you have press 'super', wait till numbers appear on the icons in launcher and then press 'D'

nrbafna··on Simple algorithms
Simple and no clutter.

Do you plan to add more algorithms?

Dash, with its shortcuts, is useful. Now, you can search for new applications without opening Software Center.
nrbafna··on First Look: Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) Beta 1
The menu bar at top is not a wasted space. It serves as a Global Menu for applications.

I tried Unity in 10.10 too. But, it seems much more polished and usable now.

One real plus in 11.04, is the installer. Really convenient.

Intentional typo. You could get a 404 by mistyping the URL and hence it fits.
nrbafna··on Google uses accelerometer API in Jules Verne Google Doodle
I navigated through the entire doodle just to see if there was something encoded in it as well, like in the cr-48 ad.
