I would say , take some udacity courses(gtech) while in India and see if u like them. There is an engineer shortage everywhere and if u up your skills you may be able to get well paying jobs (remotely or those that sponsor a visa) the cost and time spent may be lesser.
Well finding a sustainable affable way to make money to sustain operations is essential. Offcourse privacy is important however providing access to the non biased internet should be a priority.
Reading facebooks values, it makes me extremely sad to see what they're doing. No one wants to stand in the way of providing access of the internet to the poor. But it has to be done right. Saying that telecom providers recommend these services without any bias is untruthful. Furthermore internet.org is an initiative to empower people with tools. Not providing them unused/ rarely used services. I get that one of the values is move fast and break things but at what cost?
Techcrunch, please talk to an interaction designer. Or approach random people who dont read techcrunch and look at the annoyance on their face when they scroll through said area of page.
