Stand in front of a mirror, hold your arms straight out to either side.
Your left arm is on "that" side of the room where you are, and the reflection of your left arm is also on "that" side of the room where the mirror is.
Nothing's reversed, nothing's moved, nothing's weird.
If you painted the front of you with black ink, held out your arms and pressed yourself against the wall, where would you expect the imprint of your left arm to be? Right there where it is.
I may have missed it, but does this do collaborative editing between 2 or more people? That would be the thing that could convince me to use this or something like it. Otherwise it's just a really nice drawing app whose drawback (others would call it a feature) is that I have to get to it through a service.
What I'd really like to see is something that two or more parties could install locally, and collaborate interactively without a server in the middle, or only the lightest of facilitation by a server. Which is not what you're trying to do here and I apologize. What you've done is pretty sweet.
- Many people never abandon their primary identity email.
- But many other people often abandon their email identity.
- You don't want to use a social network as the gatekeeper to *your* site.
- You don't want to have human support for password resets.
Sekrit questions/answers along the lines of your first car's maiden name? Those can be forgotten just as easily as usernames for login.I think you'll be able to get some kind of health insurance in 2014 when Obama-care kicks in. Maybe work a job just until then? You might be able to work/start/research your own company in the meantime, and you'll be free to "build one to throw away."
You might talk to all the health insurance brokers you can find. Small companies with health insurance might lead you to them. Also talk to your life/auto/home insurance broker, they might point you to options.
EDIT: Is there an association, and/or forums or other groups for you condition? They may have found ways to get insurance. Does your condition have some sort of government fallback support?
The important bit is to always use your own domain where possible. Gmail can be used with your own domain. If you leave Gmail no one is disrupted, because you just move your mail hosting business somewhere else, and point your domain there.
Extortion.
If you look at the site with a text browser like lynx then this is even more important. Lots of menus and other things that assume you know what's going on, then finally on the next page break or two an explanation. Make that all but topmost.
(And y'all ought to view your sites with a text browser once in awhile, it will give you a rough idea of the experience of people using browsers for visual and other impairments.)
- If you want to just read, use an RSS reader and subscribe to ... stuff.
- If you want to participate, get a personal page via someone like Wordpress that serves RSS, or run your own via your choice of technology if you want.
- If you want to build relationships between RSS serving participants, use the missing RSS feature that allows client RSS readers and site RSS readers (another missing piece) to piece together inter-site RSS conversations and relationships.
- Mix in some personal privacy and control, and you're done.
EDIT: add missing word.
I'm not saying that standard staggered is inherently superior, but it is what most people learn on and use.

It's probably also worth writing a letter stating exactly that to your school, your department, and the department involved, as well as a letter to your alum magazine.
I use pairnic.com for registration and dns. I don't know if their customer service is good or bad because I've never needed it, but I suspect it's excellent.
I use fastmail.fm for both SMTP and IMAP. I've never needed their customer service, it just works.
I don't use my gmail account, but I keep it in part for a backup SMTP, although I've seen gmail SMTP go down and I've never seen fastmail go down. I suppose they must have and I just wasn't doing anything active at the time.
