FB sure has access to everything you put on FB. They are selling the ability to track a person from point of click to point of sale so they have access to data far more intrusive than a background check.
Do they have access to check your criminal records and tax records probably not.
Using AI how?
There are many ways of using an AI.
When I will use such insurance
AI used to automate their backend tasks reducing my price
AI used to automate billing issues, address changes anything I don't like manually doing
AI used to score customer support requests then handed to a human
AI used to price my contract dynamically while giving me ability to grant granular access to my data.
When I won't use if AI powered?
AI used to do large scale compartmentalization of clients and putting me in a bucket
Customer support fully done by AI causing no end to my headaches
AI used to predict my behaviour then alter my pricing
AI used as a buzzword to make me pay more for some reason
AI used to search for susceptible clients and upsell them other products
In that you want to build a service every month. Best of luck with this endeavor. I think it will be the best learning experience. Would love a long read on what your experience is after this project
Seems to be against the common man is right. As the other commenters have said reasons are ,but not limited to
1. Moat for lawyers. If it was easy to write functional law, their wages would go down.
2. Precise control on level of vagueness to achieve desired result by forcing subjective interpretation
3. Need for precision and build of technical terms by practitioners I.e. Lingo
People are experimenting with various things from Ethereum smart contracts to L4 a programming language for law.
I have also stated a github repo www.github.com/naveenmishra88/opencontract
So that we ccan collaborate on a crowdsourced plain English version of contracts that work for us rather than against.
As of right now it's rewards. After the beta, we will include payments attribution of work, equity in an org and the feeling that you helped contribute in building something
Excellent idea. Where are you doing this? If its in NYC I can help work on this.
Topics
1. Cost v efficiency v customer satisfaction triumvirate
2. Do you use Customer support as a cost center or lead in to future customers
3. Online FAQ,wiki,guide content readability
4. What metrics are customer support people incentivized on, how can they be optimized for the specific business
5. B2B customer support vs B2C
6. Is there a feedback mechanism to either product or sales
Totally second the effort. But agree with open source UX on this. Plain old HTML is the first approximation to an answer.
Open publishing needs an incentive mechanism and is therefore not a technical but a business problem.
Also CUNY J school with Google and a bunch of folks did election land.
If there was a way to replicate that effort in a open decentralized way, that is the way to go
Take care of your contract with BigCo. Totally second the idea of looking at carmack and oculus story.
Usually I would start by building stuff or contributing to an open project. You can get a letter saying you CNA contribute to an open project from your employer .
Also building a platform for people with cognitive Surya and the drive to build stuff.
Launching Feb 8th. Check out www.crowdraising.co
Absolutely love indiehackers.
Not a straight answer to your question I know, want to shameless plug the Platform I am helping build, it's for people with side projects and cognitive surplus as clay shirky puts it to get max value out of their time.
Launching Feb 8th. Check out www.crowdraising.co
I would second the serverless idea as well.
Also one thing that is going to be of incredible value, getting a friendly UI to the crypto currency / smart contracts world.
Tough selection but will pay off dividends if you get it right
Have the facts straight
Complain loudly including twitter
Write to the CFPB and BBB
Call out the CEO on social media.
Customer service has been a loss leader for companies existing in oligopolic structures. Time to follow the Amazon model and make customer service a USP
Totally support www.opencollective.com, those guys are awesome.
Documentation always helps
There needs to be a piecemeal way of supporting such projects, take a look at hit record.org for creative stuff and also I am part of a team thats building a platform to do exactly what you request. Launching Feb 8th. Check out www.crowdraising.co
Totally agree with setting a schedule, even better make that public atleast to your trusted circle of friends.
I have seen writers tweet number of words written everyday on their latest projects.
Having an accountability buddy helps a lot, even better if you have a community.
Faced with a similar problem, I am building a network of people with cognitive surplus and the drive like yourself,
We are launching on Feb 8th.

Thoughts and feedback appreciated
Depending on how much money you want to commit to this idea, I would suggest hiring a freelancer. Ideally you would have an in-house technical person to help you going forward.
NDA s are good but depending on the situation not implementable.
I suggest building a business moat that can't be copied even if the code is copied.
If you agree , I am building a network for people to contribute to projects and get rewarded for it. Public beta starts Feb 8th. Check out www.crowdraising.co

I would say expose them to the light of day, have people critique them. If you are really self aware try to match your skills to what the implementation to each idea requires.
Easier way ( shameless plug follows) I am part of a team to crowdsource such work or atleast the customer development and feedback part for now.
Going live on Feb 8 th. Check out www.crowdraising.co

Excellent insights from the replies. I would like to offer my own.
There is a philosophy that says design for function. Let's say there is a sleek shape for a car that does not walk the talk, what are the social aspects of owning that car?
Think of modded watches , or the Toyota Celica, with a little modification it can be made to look like a decent sports car , would you buy it if it didn't perform?
MVP + iteration is the most straightforward answer.
Creating a user profile, matching it with a list of people and asking politely goes a long way.
Helps if you are a potential user of the solution as well
Also a billion dollar product for the indian customer looks nothing like a tech startup in the US. So enabling that to grow is key. This is a generational problem. Services and products are being built this generation to lay waste to that claim
Lets see.
There is a funding gap here. Things that are rippoffs get funded easier. Most SV vc firms have an office in India and they are pattern matching for results.
Also India still needs ELECTRICITY and INFRASTRUCTURE built.
The opportunity is not to build the TWTR/FB for india but to build the AT&T,National Highway system, and basic amenities. There is a severe misunderstanding of which problems to solve vs which solutions will get me money which i will then use to solve my problems
Ethical it's not. Leagality if fluid. Also who is going to sue?
Strictly speaking is it illegal sure.
No one of the customers cares enough to sue( has arbitration agreements) , the other firms are doing a cost benefit analysis
