Do some group fitness class, they usually have some kind of social event once and a while, so you can at least get to casually know a few people.
If Sunday morning all you can think about is how horrible Monday will be, and it gives you loads of anxiety, then you are burning out and you prolly need to quit -- you'll figure something out.
I'm reminded of a post from a few months ago: a guy had a massager who got annihilated by Chinese competition because they knew how to exploit Amazon's systems.
But in 1974, when 28 years had passed, Republic Pictures failed to file a renewal for the film's copyright protection. The film lapsed into the public domain, meaning anyone could show the film without obtaining permission or paying royalties
The use case for VR requires the visual information add value. Games, concerts, maybe certain online courses, movie tie-ins (behind the scenes on the set of a movie), maybe meetings where a power-dynamic is conveyed visually.
Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, Session 11, Feb. 4, 1442, ex cathedra: “Regarding children, indeed, because of danger of death, which can often take place, when no help can be brought to them by another remedy than through the sacrament of baptism, through which they are snatched from the domination of the Devil [original sin] and adopted among the sons of God, it advises that holy baptism ought not be deferred for forty or eighty days, or any time according to the observance of certain people…”72
Pope Pius VIII: “Against these experienced sophists the people must be taught that the profession of the Catholic faith is uniquely true, as the apostle proclaims: one Lord, one faith, one baptism. Jerome used to say it this way: he who eats the Lamb outside this house will perish as did those during the flood who were not with Noah in the ark. Indeed, no other name than the name of Jesus is given to men, by which they may be saved. He who believes shall be saved; he who does not believe shall be condemned.” (Traditi humilitati #4, May 24, 1829)

But status is affected by subcultures; if I spend 6-months learning how to write an NES emulator or speed-running N64 GoldenEye or reaching 2200 elo in chess -- I'll get status from a small group of gaming enthusiasts but in the larger context its (probably) not a good use of my time.
For example, I got a double major in unrelated fields (I was ambitious and wanted to signal how smart I was), but it would have been better had gotten straight A's and masters degree (a double-major only impresses 1st-year undergrads; in the larger context of academic status, its irrelevant).
It would also teach my younger self about counter-signaling in the status game https://host.kelley.iu.edu/riharbau/cs-randfinal.pdf
Also not too much alcohol and HIIT fitness.
