Changing one "shared library" shouldn't mean deploying 140 services immediately.
They had one service to begin with forked for each destination. Of course that was a nightmare to maintain!
... 140 tightly coupled services wasn't the problem then?
What's wrong with spf13/cobra?
Previously I've had a new logic board after a power fault that took a authorized repairer to fix as they were the only ones that believed me.
FINALLY I got a full refund. I bought the previous 15" model (which I should never had sold) with the proceeds in store.
I've never had such an unreliable piece of hardware. Some guy was in store with a key that was stuck and he was told it would take 5 days to repair.
The relief I felt when the genius said refund said it all.
They were also pushing for 6-9 month commitments from tenants.
Moving back to G Suite was painful. I had to manually do it after the G Suite 'Migration' tool missed 1000's of messages. But so happy to have decent search back!
+1.
I've found myself (with Azure ACS) re-creating clusters quite often - as they don't support upgrades. This takes minutes with my deploy scripts, replicating the state of the cluster you're copying is the main bit of work.
I do use it for things like nginx ingress but for stuff I've built a service.yml / deployment.yml are fine.
I'm a senior developer who enjoys translating business requirements into brilliant, reliable and secure software. I'm "full stack" but hate doing CSS if I'm honest. I've been doing quite a bit of DevOps the last few months.
Stuff I've done this year:
* Node/Java/C#.net core backends
* Microservice architectures
* React/Redux SPAs
* DevOps with Kubernetes (Azure/GKE/AWS all in 2017)
I'm consulting beginning this month and can help with small things or take on full projects - just send me an email.Contact: sean[at]bloor.io

I once asked an internal recruiter the salary (as to not waste each other's time) and he returned a tirade of abuse about me not clearly being a good fit if money is my only focus. The guy organises a few meetups as well, fair to say I'll avoid anything he touches at all costs.
Edit: if you publish/ let me know the the range, I'm happy to interview.
Actually trying to move into more of a consulting role going forward, but there is such a demand for contractors IMO it could be shortening the availability of good developers in London.
