I started learning vim a few weeks ago and had the very same experiences as the author. However, I am currently use the "Vintage" Package in Sublime, to get the nice things from both worlds.

It's cool that you're honest with your marketing/sales problem and try it with this idea! I wish you luck, I/We have the same problems with marketing/sales. If you figured out some learnings, would be great to read on your blog!

Because everyone is mentioning that's like Android's Widget-Concept, and Android already solved this - that's not the case in my opinion. I think it's too complex for users to know what a "widget" excatly is. This is more the concept of: Show me a little bit more than the app-icon - and that's it. Imho the user would understand the concept immediately and don't have to know what actually a "widget" is, or how to remove it.

Do I get it right? Your point is: we should just build anything, no matter if we think it's valuable?

I used and liked it, but imo it was more an experiment for google and they had no real use-case/focus.

I think so… of course not for every instrument (eg. windinstruments). What I think could be the problem is that musicians really "love" their instruments. I am a drummer and I don't even like it if someone I know plays a gig with my drumkit. But that's only my opinion.

I know Michael Hartl's ruby on rails tutorial, and it's nice written, but when I read programming books and come to parts like data-structures, then I think - "Oh no, I already know that stuff" and skip this part. But in this section you really learn about string handling… I probably should just read everything and keep on learning..

Thank you, I always thought that learning frameworks shouldn't be hard for programmers and was uncertain about my skills. But it's good to see, that I'm not the only one, so I have hope ;)

Is there any good article about all advantages of nosql and rdbms? Because I think this decision is very hard to make if you have no experience with much data and handling

I agree with you. They always say there are so much job offers and the industry search developers but with around ~1600 without taxes you don't get enough.
