nevermindiguess··on Finland will seek NATO membership immediately
Actually no! You should probably notask for help because it has a non zero probability that you will not be beat up, whereas if you do it has an almost certain probability that you will since you have just been warned.
nevermindiguess··on Finland will seek NATO membership immediately
This is great. You will enjoy fighting Russia then. Although they never had any intention to fight you country just until you government was about to give it a reason now. But I respect your right to self determine your future - no matter how foolish.
nevermindiguess··on Finland will seek NATO membership immediately
Didn’t the US/EU take the high moral of self determination for every country, when supporting Ukraine’s actions? So, if Hungary “self determines” to veto access to NATO, which is its right according to NATO’s rules, why punish it and suffer consequences? It would be the same as Russia invading Ukraine to punish it for “self determining” its choice to join NATO or the EU. I don’t care about rhetoric and window dressing. I want to argue the raw facts. I feel most people here are hypocrites. Let’s agree that the US and EU are equal bandits as Russia. Let’s all drop the hypocrisy.

DenaZifying and dewokening. And the end of globalization. Finally good news.
nevermindiguess··on Apple's director of machine learning resigns due to return to office work
So you like the written “proof” so you can face off your colleagues in case of disagreement? You seem to have negative feelings about your work environment. You should consider changing jobs.
nevermindiguess··on Apple's director of machine learning resigns due to return to office work
I would summarize your comment as “just give me the money and don’t bother me.” Easy to say that when stronger people than you have put up just with the things that your delicate character is unwilling to put up with, to build great thriving businesses and afford people like you the luxury of WFH. I say ‘grow up’! Face those aspect of the office work that brother you. Became a stronger person. Be more courageous. Our society does not need more incels working from home because ‘they don’t like the person sitting next to them’. Don’t be a leech on society. Get out and contribute.
nevermindiguess··on Airbnb’s design to live and work anywhere
Start your own company. Get your “boss” office, and roam the staff shared office when you want. Problem solved. Don’t ask your employer to fulfill your capricious dreams.
nevermindiguess··on Is this how Russia ends?
It would be interesting to hear why you think Russia is an authoritarian state. Have you lived there? Have you studied it deeply? Do you have reliable sources to substantiate your claim? You certainly repeat what the western media says, but they are hardly an independent or unbiased source (speaking of authoritarian regimes). To me it looks like you may be making a lot of assumptions without having first hand experience or professional knowledge on the subject.
nevermindiguess··on We analyzed 100K technical interviews to see where the best performers work
I would never want the best developers. Imagine the giant pain in the back of these primadonna always thinking they can get paid more in their next job. And how you should give them this or that, or how you should change your development stack, language, processes, chair color, etc. I only need very few geniuses and a lot of normal ones. 80/20, remember?!
nevermindiguess··on France ends gas heaters subsidies
I’m sure it’s fine with your developer salary. Go tell the old lady with a meager pension or the family with three kids.
nevermindiguess··on A Hard Look at the Risk of a Putin-Ordered Tactical Nuke
The west really really really care about Ukraine. That’s so odd. If the reason is strategic, then Putin is right to care as much. In fact, more, since it has a more direct effect on his country then the US or most of NATO. Or perhaps it is because it’s a country of white people, while people in Iraq, Syria, Libia, and Afganistan are some shade of brown. Who knows. Perhaps they are just childish and arrogant, thinking it’s ok for them to invade countries but not for others to do the same. Seems very hypocritical. Makes you wish they got thought a lesson by Russia. Too bad their silly woke citizens would be the ones suffering. It’s also interesting how they have iconized the enemy into a single person: Putin - just like for Hitler. If that’s not propaganda I don’t know what it is. While at the same time they have vilified all citizens of Russia - but wait - they did it for a good purpose: to solicit their action for regime change. Would it be fair to do all this to the US next time they invade a country? I’d like to hear the mental gymnastic of those who think “oh, but that would be different”.
nevermindiguess··on Russia Shut Down Free Press During Ukraine Invasion. Risk Jail to Tell the Truth
This is censorship. But in my opinion this is the same as US tech companies deciding who gets a platform and who doesn’t. Just different values.
nevermindiguess··on In Moscow, McDonald's packs up, radio falls silent and the brain drain begins
And that’s exactly the problem. Seeking an enemy where there’s one eventually creates it. And lots of arms revenues too.
nevermindiguess··on In Moscow, McDonald's packs up, radio falls silent and the brain drain begins
How about hoping for change in your own country? Have you considered that you may be wrong about what Russian want? It’s not nord Korea, you know.
nevermindiguess··on In Moscow, McDonald's packs up, radio falls silent and the brain drain begins
You find it sad because you have never experienced the beauty of a society without malls. With small little local shops instead of the big corporations and high street brands that all look the same. Europeans have. But it is being destroyed by the malls.
nevermindiguess··on In Moscow, McDonald's packs up, radio falls silent and the brain drain begins
It’s not a brutal regime. That’s what the media wants you to believe. Have you lived there and been treated brutally? The US is a brutal regime. Check the incarceration rates.
nevermindiguess··on Hedge Funds Walk Away from LME After $3.9B Trades Torn Up
This is actually good. The mask is coming down from western institutions. Exchanges busting entire days of trading. Central banks seizing the assets of other central banks. Governments seizing the assets of individuals without due process. This is great. The international law order is falling apart. The western world is showing its true face. Bring it on. We can’t wait to see what’s under the vest. Take off everything. Reveal the beast in all its glory. We are not afraid. The day of reckoning is coming.
nevermindiguess··on Sanctions on Russia Will Fail Without Diplomacy
Sanctions are also a political tool used by countries to gain economic advantages over other countries. In this case it is naive of you to think they are been applied to punish Russia for its military operations. They are being applied by the United States so they can sell their energy supplies to the EU, by eliminating Russia as a market competitor. Ukrainian lives are the collateral damage created by the US. It’s really that simple. Just follow the money.
nevermindiguess··on U.S. firm Cogent cutting internet service to Russia
I think you summarized that best.
nevermindiguess··on Why John Mearsheimer Blames the U.S. for the Crisis in Ukraine
If an external party pays the corrupt government of one of the two parties, to genocide their own citizens, that external third party is complicit in war.
nevermindiguess··on Italy plans to set aside more than €4bln to boost domestic chip manufacturing
More likely this budget is provided by the European Union for this particular sector investment. So they took it because it is from money. It doesn’t matter that the investment is not enough and it will deliver nothing or fail. The important thing is the money that will be distributed through bribes and overly inflated costs. This money is one reason more to fall in line with whatever policy the EU pursues. Including the current propaganda against Russia. Italy would lick any boot for money.
nevermindiguess··on Nord Stream 2 declares bankruptcy
What makes you think that the US and EU have any real interest to see Ukraine succeed? Besides believing their platitudes and propaganda, I mean.
nevermindiguess··on Nord Stream 2 declares bankruptcy
You are not correct when you say “without provocation”. The UKR government had been assaulting its own ethnically-Russian citizens in Donbass four 8 years. Russia went in to stop that. There are many journalistic documents that prove those societies.

nevermindiguess··on Pfizer and BioNTech launch trial of Omicron-targeted Covid vaccine
There’s no way of winning with those like you. You just like the drama of the pandemic too much and want it to stay forever. Even if it killed 1 person a year globally, those like you would probably argue that “even one life is infinitely precious and we should be on lockdown to save it”. Perhaps you feel this is your opportunity of a lifetime to be righteous. Honestly, I am so fed up with so many of you around that I have been hoping for a global nuclear Armageddon between Russia and the USA just to shut all of you up. Don’t forget to wear your mask when you look at the strange bright light in the sky.
nevermindiguess··on An apartment balcony became one of Italy’s best-known stages
While infringing on the other residents’ rights to peacefully enjoying their home. For 10 years.
nevermindiguess··on Dutch athletes warned to keep phones and laptops out of China
The shocking fact is that the international community allows such an event to be held in a country where one cannot safely take a phone or computer. But since that could be said for many other “good” countries, then I suppose it becomes normal to engage with these “bad” countries despite their human rights violations. And that is a big source of cynicism for many people: if the “good and righteous” international community does business with countries like China and they themselves engage in the same human rights violations, then the ethical base for these countries’ legal system is demolished. And when the legal system is completely debased, then anything goes. Crimes can no longer be defined and therefore punished. A citizen’s revenge towards its government is no longer a crime. Just another act that can no longer be judged by any ethical standards (other than one’s subjective moral one). When those institutions entrusted with upholding society’s ethical values through the law (ie the right to privacy, the right to a fair legal process, etc.) no longer abide to the law themselves, anarchy ensues. Just watch the consequences of the international community failing to hold responsible those who created the conditions for your pandemic, for the sake of their commercial interests.
nevermindiguess··on My Many Girlfriends
There is no need to. Society has a contract. We accept those that fit in and reject those that don’t. And that’s a good thing. Just like birds reject sick birds to preserve the health of the group. It’s the best thing from an evolutionary perspective. There is an envelope within which which diversity is accepted. Outside of the envelope you get rejected. It sounds like this particular individual was outside the envelope. So he goes.
nevermindiguess··on Alumni Withhold Donations, Demand Colleges Enforce Free Speech
An excerpt from the article to highlight the degree to which these progressive policies have corrupted our youth:

“The poll found that 66% of students said it is acceptable to shout down a speaker to prevent him or her from speaking on campus and 23% say it is acceptable to use violence to stop a campus speech.”

If boomers are going to start this, it is my hope that Gen X’s are going to finish this job, as they move into the leadership layer of society. They are the last bastion against this global insanity. The last generation born before the inter-webs were a thing. Hopefully Z’ers and Alpha will be wiser and less idiotic than Millennials.
