I immediately noticed an improvement to my overall happiness when switching to my current work schedule.
I'm hoping the answer to that on the Librem 5, PinePhone, and any other Linux phones to come out, is PWAs.
I'm more familiar with web development and higher level languages, but I've always been interested in Rust. While I know a bit of C/C++, I'm far from an expert. One of the things that turns me off from those languages are the frequent use of really short or cryptic variable/function names.
I'm looking at this codebase, specifically https://github.com/hsiaosiyuan0/naive/blob/master/src/lib/to..., and I see stuff like `let (s, kv, vk, be) = gen_map!`. I have no clue what those variables would be unless I dug around the rest of the file.
Is this sort of variable/method naming convention common in the Rust world? I am not criticizing the author or the language here, merely just curious what I should expect if I dipped my toes into Rust.
One is an, um, adult site. The other is HBO Go, which I only know because I had issues getting this running on Linux. I haven't tried it in several months though so that may have changed.

With the announcement of the new Windows Terminal, I wonder if these projects will become irrelevant. The only reason I use Cmder is for tabs, and once I have Windows Terminal with that feature, I doubt I would ever use Cmder or Hyper.
I only use Windows in a VM now, but for years I ran Windows with no AV outside of whatever Windows set up on it's own. I only got two viruses in my life, and both times I was asking for it (downloading sketchy looking things off of Kazaa when that was a thing).
In Windows, it would just spin a little circle forever until I rebooted. After installing Linux and getting actual error messages, I learned that my SATA AHCI controller wasn't always working at boot and was fixed by plugging my HDD into a different port.
The problem could have been fixed so much earlier had Windows just told me what was wrong.
Maybe an option to open up a more detailed description of what the app wants the permissions for?
I don't know if there's any reason to even bother upgrading. Is it faster or more secure now? Better admin UI?
The advantage to Chezmoi (or GNU Stow) is that it can handle things outside of your home directory too (if I understand correctly).
