Doesn't seem to be accepting connections when I try.
It's one of the most stressful and least-fun parts of being a developer for me.
I keep reading about NixOS lately, but I haven't done a deep dive into it. Does this seem like something that could be useful for this?
Also, does anyone have any resources for pragmatically working through such things or guidelines to help maintain one's sanity?
There were times while reading the rationalizations/thought processes of the main character that I started to feel physically nauseous and had to take a break.
If you are at all interested in psychology, sociology, history, and/or philosophy, give it (or the audiobook) a go.
Thinking up wild and vivid scenarios in your mind and playing around with ideas and experimenting with concepts is how I've gotten through most of the traditionally difficult subjects I've encountered so far.

I'm curious to see who others see in a similar light, and what they're working on.

When I was in HCMC, I visited the The War Remnants Museum. It is on the same level as Auschwitz in my mind. It made me physically ill.
I was so unbelievably ashamed for my country and it's awful leaders during that time. The more I've learned about the war in the time since, the more I've started to understand that we are heavily indoctrinated in the US to believe a ton of bullshit growing up, particularly in relation to our foreign policy blunders.
I'm sorry for the suffering inflicted upon your country and people.
You don't have to read them all. At some point (after much learning and preparation of course) we all have to decide to be our own guide; to trust our own intuition and primary research to know what's best for us.
Each of us have incredibly unique backgrounds, experiences, goals, and values. Until we start to take action on the things that we really want to achieve, articles like these will eventually come to sound like the same tired platitudes. Check out Emerson's essay Self-Reliance if this resonates with you. (And yes I recognize the irony :) of my comment.)

I've done this with pretty great results. Actually, I will do it again right now.
Just took Intro to Mathematical Thinking from Stanford on coursera, it was fantastic.
Maybe I'm just too deep into my Theory of Computation class right now, but this sounds a lot like a closure (or lack thereof) property in the set of "homogenous tissue", no?
Side note: 14 people created something of value and distribute it for free, and still many of the comments here are just complaints about auto-scroll, websites, and JS. Pretty sad to see.
Not even close to being a "solved space". Especially not by just a single website.
