myth_drannon··on We May Be Living Through the Most Consequential Hundred Days in Cyber History
Looking at the Israeli startup scene, there is a huge surge in cybersecurity investments (especially agentic security) in the last couple of months, looks very abnormal.

myth_drannon··on Spain shuts airspace for US planes involved in Iran war
It would have been a valid criticism if it mentioned US aid to Ukraine (which is far larger), or aid to Egypt or the aid by maintaining military bases in South Korea, Japan, Europe. But nothing of that was mentioned, only the Jewish state. Hence it is a good ol' antisemitism.
myth_drannon··on Spain shuts airspace for US planes involved in Iran war
Nope, Israel had it much earlier.
myth_drannon··on Spain shuts airspace for US planes involved in Iran war
the OP wrote that the money went to Israel instead of the American healthcare system. The argument is old, like 1500 years old, "of course the jews stole it!" Canadian health care system is garbage, but at least we don't blame jews for that (for now).
myth_drannon··on Spain shuts airspace for US planes involved in Iran war
Israel has had public education and public healthcare forever, even going back when US had no colored and jews signs in their public spaces.
myth_drannon··on The curious case of retro demo scene graphics
There are also Editions64K books https://www.editions64k.fr . But it's more Amiga scene oriented.
myth_drannon··on Why I'm Not Worried About Running Out of Work in the Age of AI
"Why are you worried? You can always play golf with your buddies!"
myth_drannon··on World Happiness Report 2026
Yes, maybe. It's the old jewish way of dealing with being powerless in exile. You try to hit us, we smile and joke. It's not healthy.

I think it's now more about gaining power as a nation and not being at the mercy of those who seek to destroy us.

myth_drannon··on World Happiness Report 2026
It's sad to see Canada drop so much, as much as Congo, Malawi and a bunch of other war torn places.
myth_drannon··on World Happiness Report 2026
It had a huge drop in positive emotions due to the war with Gaza in 2023. Actually, negative emotions were higher than positive which is sad and expected. But the index includes many metrics that don't change rapidly like GDP, life expactancy.. so any short conflict will not have outsized effect.
myth_drannon··on Iran war energy shock sparks global push to reduce fossil fuel dependence
Sending is easy, but hitting something... They are shooting at an open desert and Gaza while exposing their launch teams.
myth_drannon··on Kagi Small Web
How did I miss topics button!? It makes the whole experience absolutely different.
myth_drannon··on Kagi Small Web
Can we just agree that the internet is broken and no amount of boutique search solutions will save it? Kagi, DDG, Google they are all trying to do a search in a pile of steaming sh*, in a hope of finding that shining diamond.

Quite possible that people will come up with a solution eventually. Like Samizdat was a solution to censorship and a broken publishing system in USSR.

myth_drannon··on Kagi Small Web
Too many AI or relegion related sites.

myth_drannon··on Iran-backed hackers claim wiper attack on medtech firm Stryker
West Germany's response to Palestinian terrorism was horrendous. But again, it's all about power. When Arabs have the most important resource in the world, you have little choice and have to submit. Lately Germany improved by much and grew some spine.

myth_drannon··on Google closes deal to acquire Wiz
Not a lawyer but this looks like a grey area and since it's public it can be assumed everyone is trying to do it. I worked for F500 and one of the VPs was pushing some IT vendor solution that didn't really fit, after so much implementation pains and half working product release the said VP left the company... To become a board member of that IT vendor.
myth_drannon··on Google closes deal to acquire Wiz
This guy has quite a history, no surprise. Check his twitter.
myth_drannon··on Google closes deal to acquire Wiz
Interesting fact regarding the sale. Because the founders are about to receive $2.4B US, Israeli tax authorities got involved, and the tax on the sale as an exception will be paid in US dollars directly without converting to shekels due to concerns it might crash the US/NIS exchange rate (with $US already historically low).
myth_drannon··on Yann LeCun raises $1B to build AI that understands the physical world
This could have been 1000 seed rounds. We are creating technological deserts by going all-in on AI and star personalities.

myth_drannon··on Oil prices surge 20% on supply fears
In 1990, 20% of cars were not electric. No wind/solar power too. Those models are totally useless.

I'm more worried about AI electricity consumption than oil prices doubling. There is too much upside for this war. Once the ayatollahs are gone, Iranian oil will flow to the free markets and unfortunately, oil prices will crash (making electric vehicles not an attractive option).

myth_drannon··on How far back in time can you understand English?
For square Hebrew (Assyrian) you can go back for about 2000 years. So for example Dead Sea scrolls are fairly readable. But old classical Hebrew impossible.
myth_drannon··on Child's Play: Tech's new generation and the end of thinking
That's all satire, right? I don't believe the author describes a reality, even in a sarcastic way.
myth_drannon··on The Israeli spyware firm that accidentally just exposed itself
"Walls of Jericho" plan was known to Israel since 2017. Everything was known but as usually with IDF, too much arrogance and this was mostly ignored. Not to mention the 4am meeting the top brass decided not to raise alarms for fear of miscalculation. Maddening arrogance and many heads should have rolled but still some are in their seats.
myth_drannon··on Reversed engineered game Starflight (1986)
This game looked very familiar and after googling around it looks like it is recognized as the progenitor of Starcontrol game.
