That being said, I agree that performance for certain IO intensive applications like web servers is very good, way better than Ruby. Subjectively Phoenix feels way, way faster than Rails in development and is much more performant in production.

I've been doing Elixir/Phoenix lately and subjectively it feels significantly faster than Ruby/Rails.
Meat and sausages stored in lard are also a delicacy. The lard preserves and tenderises the meat.

So the cheapest one at the moment is START1-XS, which is 1EUR/month without public IP.

For me the speedup with SFE is almost x2, haven't tried hardware encryption yet.
With this, I would say the C7 is an excellent router for OpenWRT.
