EDIT: I think you still don't understand. It doesn't matter what hardware Android runs on it's written to be appliance firmware. Even if you put it on a laptop it just turns the laptop into what is essentially a television.

I have side projects in Rust, Javascript, C and many other languages. I've worked back end, front end, embedded, built massive web-scale distributed systems and one off prototypes.
Yes I'm short apple (as of August 2025 $206 average price)

The Democrats had control of the white house and legislature at the beginning of Biden's presidency and could have chosen alternatives to cut but did not.
As I've said so often: if you don't like what Trump is doing you need to campaign for viable alternatives.
I think people should respect that try harder to meet users where they are.
EDIT: They're not deceiving users though? The first section on the index page links directly to the real putty site. They're very clear about all of it.
EDIT2: Nope. We really don't want DNS "moderators." All of us have seen what happens with forum moderators. Like I said if that were done the internet would not work. It's not about the cost it's about being unable to clearly define what should be banned.
If you want to see a great example of how moderation like that both stops legitimate use and fails to stop malware go look at smartphone app stores. The result is borderline unusable garbage.
I think better would be for people to be more personally picky who they share spaces with.
I don't think it's good to constrain people in some way from doing that, you should just have a personal policy of avoiding extensions you're not involved in the development of.
It's kind of weird to see people running into this kind of issue with modern large models with all the RL and getting confused. No one starting today seems to have good intuition for them. One person I knew insisted LLMs could do structural analysis for months until he saw some completely absurd output from one. This used to be super common with small GPTs from around 2022 and so everyone just intuitively knew to watch out for it.
The problem is when people drag the rest of the country into it. And that's mostly a problem because the US is this weird international country now so we have to make all these compromises.
Actually that's exactly what I'm talking about. If you don't want people to feel pressure to socialize then you need to create a social norm of keeping to yourself. It would be nice for that to go away.
