> The ballast in our application is a large allocation of memory that provides stability to the heap.
> As noted earlier, the GC will trigger every time the heap size doubles. The heap size is the total size of allocations on the heap. Therefore, if a ballast of 10 GiB is allocated, the next GC will only trigger when the heap size grows to 20 GiB. At that point, there will be roughly 10 GiB of ballast + 10 GiB of other allocations.
edit: typo
Facebook: F on squarish background
HackerNews: Y on orange square
Google: Google with coloured letters (or multicoloured G in white circle)
LinkedIn: blue `in` text
You get the idea... they don't need to be complicated and could be as simple as just text.
To clarify, personal capital is for US residents
From their support page:
>Although you can access the Personal Capital application from any location, we currently only support U.S based financial institutions (currency, USD) for linking accounts. Note that for security reasons, you will need a valid U.S. phone number to sign up for Personal Capital.

* Jack Reacher: I've read all but the latest one. I would recommend it if you liked the story in both movies.
* Discworld: I'm currently on The Truth. These books have been really entertaining and witty.
Non-Fiction:
* The Doors to Perception by Aldous Huxley: The book covers Aldous' thought about his experience while under the influence of mescaline.

Also, fisherman's friend.
How does Prefect Scheduler compare to something like Quartz?
With that being said, it is still a great tool for making videos.
*edit fixed some sentences
Reminds me of the STIHL commercial from a couple of years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWSynIB68rE
tl;dw people are interviewed and each person says the company name differently. The video starts the sales pitch with "No matter how you say STIHL..."
>One of the biggest arguments against anti-piracy checks built into video games (commonly known as "digital rights management," or DRM) is that they punish paying customers with stuttering, loading times, and other detractive gameplay issues. While leading DRM vendor Denuvo has long claimed that its tools don't hamper video games, the stats keep piling up to suggest otherwise.

I'm not sure why the trend is to start off with strong good content and then eventually just end up with superficial, low quality garbage.
