We basically are training prompt engineers without post validation now.
When my Russian colleague asks me to speak German because he wants to practice then I speak some German with him. Otherwise all our conversations are in English.
The experience might be different in "older" companies.
Depends a bit on your country. My CEO can fire me but there is a longer notice period depending on how long I have been with the company.
- 2 years: 1 month
- 5 years: 2 months
- 8 years: 3 months
...
- 20 years: 7 months
Germany btw.
New trade routes and spinning up local production will take time (likely longer five years) so the consumer will pay a price. Question is how high it will be.
To purely imported goods (a lot of tech for example): cost will go up substantially.
To Russia: They are currently in a war economy. You will likely not really see a collapse coming until it is to late. Banks have been forced to give far to cheap loans to the arms industry complex which are unlikely to ever pay them back. This partially masks the true cost of the war.
Let's so how this proceeds.
MacOS Software sadly does break sometimes.
There are also other AI tools listed there. https://buyoncesoftware.com/?category=AI
As soon as the AI models run on an external server a buy once model does no longer work (or atleast not with an acceptable one time price). The constant server cost is just to high.
I used a freshly generated virtual credit card with payment amount +20$ as a limit (just to be sure).
I personally don't know if they ship their sirup around the world.
Please pick a different browser if it is not for you. Waterfox has less restrictions and might be a better fit.
Without those features I can just replace Alexa with nothing because we do not use any other features.
I got fed up with the Word docx (with code examples) we sent out to our customers and replaced it with a hosted Docusaurus markdown documentation.
It is a lot of work to transfer the knowledge to a the new place. It is a lot of work to keep the documentation up-to-date. It is also a lot of work to formulate things in a widely understandable way with screenshots and good examples.
Still I would do the same refactoring again. While the documentation is still not perfect, our customers now comment that it truly helps them to get going fast with our product. A search function is also very helpful.
Our QA team does follow the integration instructions in the documentation when a major change is released (so "putting somebody in the student's place" does work for us). It of course takes time.
Does Home Assistant also have these features?
Network disabled is a straw man argument.
If somebody already has made the effort of creating an extension and maintaining it, why not use that?
This is currently the cheapest and most used method (around 60%). Coal (around 20%) and oil (around 20%) are also used for hydrogen production.
Green hydrogen is below 1%.
So fossil fuels are still currently the cheapest option there. Just not a green one.
It's not about throwing infants in a dunghill first thing after birth and let nature take its course. It's about gradual exposure when the system can slowly get used to it.
Quite sad times. I liked the 2000s and 2010s with rather free trade a lot.
