Thanks for the link! I definitely agree with the author, NixOS is the only system that does The Right Thing but I cannot recommend it to anyone. I mean, I technically have recommended it to one person, but he's an ex-Arch user so... does it really count? :D
I have a friend who's learning to program using P5.js. She's an art student, and having immediate feedback and a (relatively) simple language is a huge plus
The difference is that "person went from airport X to airport Y" is WAY less private than, say "person went to Planned Parenthood clinic" or "person parked in front of union"
I mean... it depends what you want to support. My web calculator [fully client side] is 370kb of JS. It has features that this doesn't have (3d rendering, solving equations), but doesn't have code that this needs (mostly, the keyboard)...
Those are shared but... Tauri is using less than 80 megs, Electron is using 143 for the main process alone, so it doesn't really make a difference. Tauri is way lighter
