So probably not. But if the lost phone was an iPhone, walking around with another iPhone would have reported it (once the walking one was connected to the WiFi back again).
I thought about "relaying" the place's Wi-Fi connection through a chain of phones sharing via bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but luckily we could find the phone without having to try that. The setup would have been something like:
Router <-Wifi-> Phone <-Blutooth-> Phone <-WiFi-> Phone <-....
SO steampunk to see a group of adults shouting around "HEY GOOGLE" in the woods to find a lost phone.
Thanks!
I don't usually use bluetooth _that much_ so I didn't think about it. My cousin's truck was around, which was indeed paired with the phone - but it would have been a bit more cumbersome to use in the search anyways.

I may try understanding both StableDiffusion and Python enough to do it, but if you already solved it - that'll be appreciated :)
Back when I joined Manas.Tech and learnt about Crystal, THE wow factor for me was the way `if` constraints optional types when you check it: https://crystal-lang.org/reference/1.5/syntax_and_semantics/...
That provides you the flexibility of having union types (variable may be `Thing1` or `Thing2`) for generic purposes, AND type-safetiness (is that a word?) when dealing with specific paths of your program that apply differently to some of the subtypes of the variable.
I think Swift and Kotlin support (some of?) that now. It was really new for me back in the day (around 2014?).
But that's from a coding point of view - not that much about niches, as you talk about.
I don't care about you "controlling" an email address - you can easily get fake ones for free. It's about both parties having agreed _at least once_ on a way for the service to communicate important stuff to you.
Argentina's largest bill (1000 ARS) is between 3.6 and 7.8 USD (depending on the exchange rate you want to use).
Are you up for imports?
I suddenly wake up, covered in cold sweat. My heart is pumping so hard.
I take out my phone. I search the internet. Kubernetes still reigns, no simpler approach made it.
The end.
And you say there's no segregation between chat and media - and I trust your out of date info more than my completely made up guesses.
Be honest.
They don't ask which brand of car you're driving, but there's a really high correlation between income level and living area - northern parts being the richest.
A similar case, more frequent case here in a touristic place with single-lane routes is lines of vehicles right after each other, that don't know how to overtake the one before, but neither leave space in between so someone else _can_ overtake them.
In a complicated mountain road, I _may_ be able to overtake a truck once in a while (depending on incoming traffic, turns, and going uphill/downhill) - but the effort required to overtake 2, 3 or more vehicles at a time is almost impossible.
But then there was Captain Tsubasa's FamiCom game, which some friends had, only in Japanese - and it amazed me how easily they went through all of the menus to change whatever settings they wanted.
Kids, spare time, the desire to play some videogames, and a country whose market wasn't that attractive - an awesome combination.
