But yes it will still be cheap for most static sites like a jekyll blog or something, if you ever reach more than 130 GB of outbound transfer you have just reached the cost of an entry level linode with transfer of 200gb included.
If that really is the case, they are probably throwing out whether each character is upper or lowercase as well :/
As for the nintendo hack it was stated as a warmup and what was posted was the apache conf, it was not lulzsec main target (at least it wasn't stated as one) nor was it necessary for all these news articles to come out about it. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if all these news articles prodded the right nerve for someone to hack nintendo to expose user data just because so many news stories came out that nintendo user data wasn't compromised.
But you are right in thinking that the majority of the problems are better left solved by mathematical techniques beyond most of us without a degree in math and high knowledge in math.
HP is absolutely the worst laptop brand I have ever owned, I've known plenty of people with HPs and almost every single laptop has overheated to the point of shutting down the computer and breaking within a year and a half.
Thinkpads have the added feature of being pretty compatible with linux, though I think some of the nvidia cards that come with the T series are not compatible yet.
I'm sure kde has something similar, but one thing to be aware of is that some monitors are specifically designed to be viewed horizontally so fonts and other things may render weird when rotated.
You say it is relatively inexpensive, so if you have that disposable money you won't have to worry about getting locked out later for some reason if hackintoshs are found and banned.
If you are doing it for fun though might as well try the hackintosh if you already have the hardware, though it isn't condoned by apple.
It probably stems from the fact that I visually filter by email address more than subject line.
I do drink black tea though during the week about 3 times a week around 5 o-clock and it usually offers a pretty big boost when I'm feeling tired. I mostly just like the taste though.
I find it weird but it is understandable from a competition point of view. If it wasn't this way you would probably see a lot more eager competitive hiring for opposing companies in order to gain an edge.
You also get pretty good folder sharing with others and a web interface.
Personally though I've stopped paying for dropbox and might consider going back if they implement client side encryption for some users, but til then its waiting for a fast enough good enough replacement or for dropbox to implement it.
But I don't know any other things for AWS, forums will probably have the best knowledge base that is easily available.
It is referenced in both as a complaint and is news for wired readers, not necessarily here (though the FTC complaint being filed here is new).
I could see some people using this and being okay but I see tons of others wondering where their microsoft office is, and to be honest a boat load of other problems from the people who malware is already a problem. (I can even see people asking where the internet is or how to get to facebook or google while looking at a chrome browser window).
These chromebooks sadly will only satisfy a niche market and this market probably would be served just as well with a similarly specked netbook running linux
All collaborative lab reports and student assignments were done in google docs as well, everyone pretty much communicates through gmail if they aren't talking face to face as well.
It just depends on how people want to work, many students don't like having to spend all their time in the lab so they use Autodesk Inventor (free for students) over Pro/E Wildfire or Solidworks (in the computer lab). Students still do torrent the MS programs if they have to use them but when they don't they are fine with semi-equivalent free alternatives.
