The only option is throw out working hardware just because we can no longer manage it...
Or another example, older VMware setups that may not be fully upgraded yet (again perhaps with older hardware preventing upgrades). All flash managed.
Just like all the baking supplies are gone from the stores, AND from the restaurant supply houses as well. There's not a 50# bag of flour to be found anywhere of those that that will actually sell to the normal consumer.
Although that industry is very closed in on itself, around my area if you go in person, you have to show your corporate paperwork to get setup as a buyer, and you can't just drop into willcall to buy restaurant quantities of what they have without an account. I know other areas are different.
One combination that was popular would be to pair up a DMD-5620 bitblit serial terminal with the 3B2.
There's already an emulator for the DMD-5620, written by the same guy that has written an emulator for the WE2000/3b2 setup.
Easily detectable fakes, typos, misspellings, etc. that aren't on genuine items.
But people are lazy. And words like caramel get blurred over. Or the one that bugs me the most of saying ‘ta’ instead of to.
My favorite is the Futurama universe where the word ask is official changed to ax instead.
Even with these "cherry picked sites", we had about a 30% failure rate dealing with the new PHP. Ranging from total non-function of some random CMS, to mostly errors printing all over every page due to some deprecated or change of code behavior in the site templates.
Perhaps it is more visible now, but BSD embedded systems have been very widely deployed for quite some time.
Anyway, I've only heard of companies typically ripping out their cubicles to switch to open flooxplan, or starting out on the cheap, line-em-up, see who fits your culture, ostracize the others.
