At nearly 100% of a core, but still.
Mad props.
But even so, you'll probably hit some weirdness in IE6's jscript implementation.
However, excanvas was quite slow though, at least last I tried it.
The first time I implemented a UDP gameserver, they were invaluable resources for the logic required if you don't already understand how it works. (Selective msgs require acks, most don't, most don't need resends, etc).
Love it.
I'm also the youngest person there, so I am learning very quickly from people with 10+ more years in Silicon Valley than I have.
Are any of these frameworks even compatible with the event driven mechanisms like twisted, tornado, etc?
I'm having to pick up Python since a lot of the webapp infrastructure at the startup I joined is Python/Django and I haven't really liked it so far, especially since everything we do would benefit from being done in an event loop (tons of IO to background services that make web requests block)
If you're not familiar with Drizzle, it's MySQL that has a bunch of crap you'll never use stripped out.

The actual video coming through is likely from a CDN, which are already built upon an infrastructure for scaling. Probably not as big of a deal as you think. Bandwidth wise it's unlikely that somebody watches the entire video as much as they rapidly hit different videos.
