The solution I found was to host in-person classes on social media marketing. I would give a high level view of the marketing strategies and then plug my tool as one of the options.
This had a few advantages:
- Everyone had been "on boarded" before even trying the product.
- Everyone now had expertise on the subject they could share with friends and coworkers.
- Each class gave me the attention of ~30 genuinely interested people.
- The income from the classes really helped as I bootstrapped the startup.
Of course - some people were very annoyed by my advertisement. But in all fairness, the information was high value and many people enjoyed it.
1- You should add a margin on the left and right side so that the content doesn't bleed to the edge of the screen. (10px would keep it aligned with the input bar on iOS Safari).
2- The floating login link looks weird, I would just add it along the rest of the links below "Hacker News". To keep it tight, only show the Submit link if the user is logged in.
3- Add margin to the logo and make it bigger. Also, the entire orange bar could be made more spacious.
I'm looking for a co-founder who would like to focus on back-end so I can get back to design/marketing/etc.
We're about to close it down, its got customers and MRR

Also, surprising he let him self be #3 on the list after apparently picking a fight with Woz about who would be employee #1
For example:
Headline
The quick brown fox jumped

over the lazy dog.
You 100% want the line break after the headline, and want to set an optional one in the subtext.
I like it because its very clean to look at, but you can also create a responsive class like

with the appropriate @media query.
It's obviously not for every situation. But for landing and marketing pages, headlines, etc, I'd go as far as to say it's absolutely essential.
