I purchase almost exclusively Anker. When my cheap Bluetooth headphones had a hard time connecting to my phone they just sent me a more expensive pair. I have their cords, wall charger, battery pack, headphones, outdoor speaker, and indoor speaker. All work well and when they stopped or seemed to function inadequately they just sent a new or updated version.

I can't recommend them enough.

What does a sabbatical mean in the tech industry? Do I get to work on a side project? or work for another company? or within the company at a different post?

I feel like in academia it is easier for a sabbatical as you can go to another university and study something different.

They solve the problem of having to manually go through 1000s of applicants. Most jobs these days have over 100 people applying. This software allows the system to easily get rid of unqualified (whatever you set the criteria at) applicants automatically.

I am sure there are many other uses like applicant tracking, job posting, compliance with discrimination laws, etc.

I have made a decent living for a couple years cleaning up offshored projects. I do not have any suggestions but carefully screen them for communication skills, responsiveness to emails/calls, ability to track completed work, and overall skill. Too many people put blind faith that everyone can develop software equally and it just is not true.

I am interested and have the cycles. What issues should be started with?

It looks to contain a lot of logic about what is shown when it is shared on Twitter, Facebook, etc. I think all the images use this logic.

"F- you money" is the amount of money that allows you to do what you want, i.e. leave when things do not go your way. This must mean the staffers did not want to be there for some reason or another.

This is interesting because they were helping build the future. It's easy to see why people might not be excited or passionate about the next CRUD app but self driving cars seems like a passion project to me.

The majority of people do not care about the same things we (HN) do. My friends will by Macs regardless because they are scared of something different.

I loved toggl but I ended up needing more features than just tracking time for $10/month.

I am a big user of Harvest and this looks very similar. That is not a bad thing but I have a few issues with this.

1) When I signed up I filled out some information. I thought it was my first project but I don't remember now. This information has disappeared. I had to enter in new tasks, project, etc.

2) The tracking screen is too complex, I get that it does a lot but it is overwhelming. I will compare to harvest which asks very simple questions (Project, task, duration (if left blank it starts a timer))

Also is there a chrome/firefox app? This is crucial as a timetracking application should not take up significant time to use.

How did you source the information? There are primarily web development tools on the list.

My guess is that they source this based on web searches and social media posts. Those tend to have a more web development focus.

What if I then remove my email? Will clap chat remove it as well?

CBC comments show you how horrible some people can be. It makes me think that we leave discussion to the discussions sites. Reddit, HN, etc. and just let the news tell the news.

Absolutely, I worked for a small department at a University and we had to use the management policy to get emails

I really like spotify because I can use it on my phone, PS3, laptop, etc. My phone can be the remote to my sound system in another room.

I also have a small data plan on my phone so I do not stream music. Spotify allows me to download their songs for playing offline.

Does Google Music provide these or similar?

This sounds like charging someone to bring you business. Katy Perry convinces a lot of people to use twitter and still has to pay to bring in revenue.

If this was the same for car sales, why would anyone recommend cars?

I see a lot about reactjs. Am I able to built a multi state SPA with it? If so would this course be enough to get me started?
