Thanks for the pointer! - Just included Playwright as a language agnostic tool.

You nailed it! I've also faced issues in the past with captchas, and elaborate bot detection mechanisms. It would also be helpful to mention that there are automatic captcha solvers to bypass security once one is detected. I am wondering if it is worthwhile to provide an addition to this post on how to improve the efficacy of scraping despite these roadblocks. The article is geared towards beginner scrapers that are just starting out so maybe it would be overkill? What do you think?

You're absolutely right. It slipped my mind as I considered it more of a language-agnostic tool, and I organized the article as the provisioning of tools for all popular programming languages. That said, I added it to the post as a language-agnostic tool - thanks for the pointer!

Thanks! Updated the blog post to include it.

Good call! ~ Will add them in the next version.

Thank you. Should be pretty straightforward to add it, and I am looking to gauge interest before I invest time on building features nobody wants :D - That said, would you use something like this if I add PS5 functionality?

Hey there HN!

Recently I have been wanting to buy an Xbox Series X, and every time I saw a post of it being released in the news, the event was in the past and the item sold out. Drat. So I decided to build a site that can track the main Twitter accounts that post about real-time Xbox Series X releases and send an immediate text to my phone. Hope it helps someone!

P.S. - Would love to expand this to other items or services which have limited availability (e.g. GPUs, the new Nintendo OLED, and more if there is demand). So please let me know if you need something tracked and maybe I can build something to help you out. Thanks!

For those of you that have heard many theories about testing and are overwhelmed by what's available and what the best practices are. Here is a helpful testing guide to adopting an Essentialist Testing mindset. Hope it helps someone!
