Does he code? Is that the majority of his internship duties?

VW bus? Mine tilted left due to bent axle. Still drove from Arizona to DC that summer.

I avoid shopping for food. I just cut out grocery stores altogether. Then when I get bored, instead of drinking I have a list of options at hand.

Start backwards. Let’s assume you can build the app. So which niche/group of people can you reach? Which group of people do you have a special insight to, or ability to create a large following? Start there, then build for them.

A place to move: gym or indoor basketball / racquetball court

I never heard of that rule, else I wouldn’t have eaten a bowl of chili while entering Basic programs into a Vic20. Food and computers always went together.

Are comic drops valuable? So professionals benefit? Or is it purely serving hobbyists and comic artists?

I love the concept and tech. So many applications

After auth, and pulsing red dot, nothing happened.

Whatever you are doing please provide an example of the expected outcome so you don’t solely rely on blind faith for creating users

I dictated by dreams into a microcasette for 4 weeks straight. I noped out at the end as the dreams became more lucid, almost out of body. 30 yrs later I still remember some of the dreams. I should like to try it again now that my work utilizes my creative strengths.

Thank you. Instant gratification with easy mode. Some Minecraft-esque muzak would be a nice touch to help one relax.

Yes, he acts in bad faith and manipulates stock. Elon while brilliant is on the autistic spectrum, I think he admitted as much.

Another bad faith argument. It is better than driving a CO2 emitter. Full stop.

This is a bad faith argument

We spend our prime decades unhappy that we are piddling away the amazing life we have. There’s a sadness and a truth there.

That’s the cynic’s own delusion: that they are the realist and the world is full of pie in the sky idealists. It’s like the precocious 12 yr old that never matures.

Interesting. Could writing prompts be taken from where I left off? Or a snippet of my best writing? Bait the hook with my own ego :)

I think it is simply ‘some’ people overthinking things and getting frustrated - thinking tech should be leveraged. Then they overthink the solution.

Well Faux news says so?

I found it very useable and intuitive and focuses one 1 thing at a time. Though I was not sure if you were a real person - I needed a page with a face and ‘about’ to make the human connection.

Precisely why I’ve let go my allegiance to teams and focus enjoyment solely on the game - let the best team win.

This is why Amazon is better for Main St than Walmart. A mens clothier on Main St gets shut down by Walmart. Owner and employees work at Walmart. With Amazon, they can become Amazon retailers. In theory at least.

Well some projects have lots of python scripts and data wrangling processes and it would be a big mess to me in 1 yr after not touching it again.

The breakthrough occurred around 1991. I started in ‘84 with a Hess modem and C64. I had the house and phone line to myself for 3 hrs after school. I was heavy into BBSing - I only called local/free BBSs in south New Jersey, but occasionally to Redding, Pa. most of the adults I met on BBSes then we’re in tech or worked for the phone company.

I started trading warez on physical discs via UPS or having mom drive me to the next town where I would hop out of the backseat and hastily exchange a box of disks with an equally nerdy kid on the sidewalk.

When I got back into BBSing on a Mac plus in ‘92, the experience was very different - it felt like a Cultural and tech evolution happening before your eyes. I would call ‘the gate’ and other prominent boards in SF area - that was where it was at.

Some goto higher Ed for a high paying career. Others attend college for intellectual curiosity and growth.

If you don’t want either of these, or prefer a different route to either of these, then yes, that seems quite ok way to live.

I record a screencast and save it to the project folder. I can get back up to speed on older projects easier esp since my note taking is hideous.

Mapbox since they create and host tilesets of my large data and I can spin up a map in minutes.
