Thanks :) We've spent a lot of time on this feature, and we'll launch many more "cards" soon.

We just launched a new feature, videos. Videos are always matched with an article, based on context. Check it out! Many more features in the works. Also incredibly excited by a partnership we'll announce soon.

Hi, this is Victor at Navize. We want everyone to try out our news platform, to gather feedback from a broader user base than our earliest beta testers. No sign-up. Please try it out, and we gladly appreciate if you could submit some feedback. Hope you'll like the service - we have lots of great ideas + improvements in the works, and we're working as hard as we can!

logotype··on China collecting Apple iCloud data
Btw, here's a simple, fast and easy guide to setup a VPN server: https://github.com/logotype/useful-unix-stuff/blob/master/L2...
logotype··on China collecting Apple iCloud data
Just setup your own, it's not so many steps actually. I've setup VPN servers for L2TP/IPSec, OpenVPN and even PPTP. Setup takes 10-30 mins. Just spin up a instance on AWS/Rackspace/whatever and install the apps, then connect to it. Works great.
logotype··on China collecting Apple iCloud data
I've seen warnings about Google certs also, when not connected via VPN.
logotype··on Ask HN: Did you receive the Oculus DK2?
With some delays, I finally got it today.
logotype··on Ask HN: Did you receive the Oculus DK2?
Very excited, of course :)
logotype··on Show HN: Flat Hacker News
Wishlist: please, please keep it simple. Don't include a MB of JS or CSS, for example I'm on a slow connection (China) and it would be inefficient if you for whatever reason include a lot of crap just to be able to see basic content. I'm sure you have this in mind but just writing it down anyway :)
logotype··on CubeSlam
I wonder what the costs are, nobody seems to care about it? At least 3 different companies worked on this. A lot of work has been put into this, must be millions :)
logotype··on LoopBack, a new Node.js framework by StrongLoop
OTOH I still have monospace.io which is a pretty nice domain. Anyone interested?
logotype··on LoopBack, a new Node.js framework by StrongLoop
Hehe, I owned that domain, loopback.io, a year or two ago. I didn't renew it obviously.
logotype··on Coalesce – Communication framework for distributed JavaScript

Am I the only one who get really tired of the endless copying and imitating of Apple UIs? Look at the picture in the tweet, every single element from the gradient in the switch button, text shadows, color tones of icon and background to the section gradients. Sure, it looks nice, no doubt. But it's so un-original!
