l-p··on ASCII Delimited Text – Not CSV or TAB delimited text
Your comment disturbs me a little… One of my gripes with Excel was that it imported and produced TSV data by default when you asked for CSV.
l-p··on Show HN: Random Street View
Well, is really does what it says, that _was_ random: http://randomstreetview.com/#phyzb_dnid7_-d_r_-5
l-p··on ECMA-404: The JSON Data Interchange Format [pdf]
I'd be interested to know if this has any impact on the "don't be evil" clause in the JSON license.
l-p··on Bluepass: an open trust no one password manager (fundraising)
I have a KeePassX db in a git repo I clone on all my hosts plus two backup remotes.

Why would Bluepass be any better than my current setup? I already have P2P secure synchronization (via git+ssh), full control over my data and everything is based on portable FOSS.

l-p··on Without this, your product is doomed to fail
The reddit post is mine and was about Sendy (without disclosing its name).
l-p··on Without this, your product is doomed to fail
I hope you fixed your security issues.

l-p··on One div – The single element HTML/CSS icon database
It needs a "works for me" button for each glyph so you can crowd-source the compatibility list.
l-p··on Alias.sh: for finding, sharing and storing bash aliases
Top two are wrong… Not a good thing. It's always the same badly written snippets that get copy-pasted across websites without anyone really understanding what it does (hence the copy/paste).

> alias servethis="python -c 'import SimpleHTTPServer; SimpleHTTPServer.test()'"

    python -m SimpleHTTPServer # python 3
    python -m http.server # Python 3

> extract () { /* useless stuff */ }

   tar xf
l-p··on My favorite regex of all time
I think this one is more appropriate: http://nikic.github.com/2012/06/15/The-true-power-of-regular...
