That sounds about right. More word play and characters would entail more processing needed for comprehension.
klue07··on Every shot Kobe Bryant ever took
Jump shots are taken at peak height. He probably jumped in the out-of-bounds direction for those and released the ball past the boundary line.

Ah ok. Thanks for the link.

How is Null as a name a problem? Null value and null string are different.

garbage_stain is only refuting a very small part of the entire website. Imagine the amount of effort to properly refute the entire website addressing each BS point.
klue07··on Why do Chinese political leaders have engineering degrees?
In China, engineering is the most prestigious major as opposed to lawyers or doctors in the US. In highschool, if you aren't very smart, you are told to go into liberal arts. If you did well in school, you almost always went into STEM, even if that is not where your passion lies. So it's not hard to see why there would be a disproportionate amount of Chinese leaders with engineering degrees.

On a side note for those who are interested. Here's a list of political figures who are from Tsinghua University (China's top engineering university): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsinghua_clique

klue07··on The Effects of Intermittent Fasting on Human and Animal Health
> Your body seems to get used to the reduced count for some reason.

It's called "starvation response." Being at a caloric deficit for a long period of time makes your body think that it is going to starve to death. Therefore it reduces your metabolism in response to the lack of calories you intake.

This is why having a cheat day every once in a while is actually physically good for your body not just psychologically.

> So maybe it will be a program where Chinese students learn at this joint university, and then return to China?

I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the methods they will use to retain talent in China. I went to Tsinghua University, and perhaps 30-40% of the graduating CS undergraduate students chose to go to graduate school in the US. I don't know the actual stats but that is my estimate for what I saw in my class.

1Password can sync your passwords through WiFi [1] without going through some cloud service like Dropbox. This is the main reason I use 1Password, and it so far has met my needs. Caveat is apparently it can only sync with a single computer.
