yes, we use PHP for this which is much simpler to grasp than JS-SSR
Yes, this bad, but outrage described in the article is not because of this.
All unhappy customers are complaining the plugin sends the data and they cannot uninstall it.
It is opposite: they need to enable it, accept terms and start paying for the service and only then they concerns might be correct.
I am not even JetBrains user but this is just a FUD for me
But some IM I treat as a really instant communication channel with my family: I don't want to miss any message from my kids or "I am at grocery, do you need something?" from my wife
You don't need any notifications from apps as long as this is not an instant messaging app. (You can make additional exception for your banking app, but that's it for 90% of users)
My phone is now so silent.
Some algorithm decided it is good to show during cartoons vasectomy ad. This is weird enough, but somehow I can understand this failed reasoning (kids -> tired parents -> no more kids -> vasectomy).
But this ad consisted only from one slide presenting intersection of penis and nothing more. For long seconds my kids were staring at it before I reacted and turned it off.
I also reported this to my country's authorities and I got some answer they gave Google some fine for this.
Maybe it can connect to Google Apps but can't give reliable results.
I simply got error that I can't log in and I should update an app but there was not any update.
Took me two days to get to their support (I don't know how it is now, but at that time all ways was directing me to use support option in app which was not functioning). And support told me if I want to get my 2 USD I should buy a new phone.
2 USD is nothing to continue the fight but I've understood I don't want to give any money to such operator. I am not Revolut user for more than 6 years now.

in chat history there is a button to "retry" but clicking it and inspecting the result, you see "internal server error"
Google Reader was "just a reader" and nothing more. They did not invest in it, it was stagnated but as it was working ok, I didn't have motivation to look for alternatives.
When Google Reader was announced to be shut down, it gave a great motivation to other reader's authors to develop their products. I would never replace current Inoreader with its insanse features with Google Reader again.
edit: ah, so you started the chargeback from some UI on the startup site? I think you hit their honeypot; you should initiate by contacting your bank. There is no point to report thief on a thief site :)
Yup, I will still stick to my point.
Someone stole my card? Not super convenient, but I do not lose any single penny. All will be back on my bank account.
Someone stole my Paypal password (on the phishing site)? It is my problem, Paypal will not refund it to me.
I bought some travel trip but travel agency did not fulfilled its obligations?
With credit card and chargeback I have all money back (and travel agency has their deal with payment company ceased).
With Paypal this is my problem and Paypal is not going to refund me any single cent.
Since my first chargeback request I don't hesitate to pay with cards at all. (And chargeback processing was faster than anyone expected: bank always contacts the other side to see their point of view and because other side doesn't want to loose their deal and go banckrupt, they send me money back on very same day)
On contrary, it is the most secure because of the chargeback.
Someone stole your credit card data and bought anything with your money? No problem, just fill in chargeback request and money are back. Bank will handle the rest (including the finding the place where it was stolen and stopping accepting credit card transactions from that place at all, so if you are running online shop, better really secure the transactions).

"Najniższa ostatnia cena: 179zł" just under the price is the text required by EU directive.
This is now a law enforced in European Union to display such history (at least the lowest price in last 30 or more days so customer knows if the price was not fake rised just before lowering it and calling it a sale). WooCommerce has a plugin for that now[1].
Probably because the author (looking on the git history, for first 2 months it was developed by one guy and then one another has joined him) has LG tv. :)
