function myFunction(arg1, arg2) {}; // This is OK, but...
var myFunction = function(arg1, arg2) {}; // This is best!
The second option is better, and is properly scoped, but it leads to certain syntax problems once you get into closures.What problems? How does assigning the function to a variable help avoid needing to make a closure for this?
https://www.eff.org/cases/2012-dmca-rulemaking
In the 2012 rulemaking, EFF asked the Copyright Office to protect the "jailbreaking" of smartphones, electronic tablets, and video game consoles – liberating them to run operating systems and applications from any source, not just those approved by the manufacturer. EFF also asked for legal protections for artists and critics who use excerpts from DVDs or downloading services to create new, remixed works. These exemptions build on and expand exemptions that EFF won in the 2009 rulemaking proceeding for jailbreakers and remix artists.
In October 2012, the Copyright Office renewed the exemption for smartphones in their final rulemaking, but did not extend it to other devices. The Copyright Office also reaffirmed the exemption for video remix, and expanded it to allow use of clips from online services.
Looks like this could be better than NUI. Unlike NUI:
- You can have multiple selectors, like in normal CSS
- More css-like names, border-radius (rather than border-width as NUI calls it)
- Shorthand properties border: 1px solid #fff;
- Shorthand color codes: #fff
textview,textfield{
border-radius:0px;
background-color:#fff;
padding:5px;
border:1px solid darkgrey;
margin:auto;
width:90%;
}
Also, $10/app is much better than Pixate's $199 license.Complete untrue. You can (and are advised to) move your wp-config.php above public_html. The reason its not done by default is because you just can't do this on many of the crappy hosting services, and it creates a barrier for entry for people making their first-ever site.
Just look at the simplicity and familiarity with traditional front-end development. http://www.pixate.com/blog/2012/12/15/table-disclosure/
View Controller:
button.styleId = @"disclosure";
default.css: table-view #disclosure {
background-color: linear-gradient(#75a4e6, #2670d8);
border-radius: 15pt;
border-width: 2pt;
border-color: white;
size: 27pt 27pt;
font-size: 16pt;
box-shadow: 1pt 1pt 1pt #333;
}
If only they had a demo we could test how well Pixate lives up to its claims.Example of use in XCode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=h...
(قول "مرحبا يا عالم!")
قول = say
مرحبا = hello/welcome
يا = oh
عالم = worldEven at peak coffee, more coffee still stimulates my mind and makes me infinitely more focused. The only times coffee hasn't worked is when I'm genuinely sleep deprived, although I typically get 6-8 hours of sleep.
AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile etc. If you want to text somebody else, you'll have to figure out their carrier first though. :(
Is their a way determine their carrier without asking?
EDIT: http://brettterpstra.com/2010/11/19/sms-from-the-command-lin...
/* bad use of while loop with compound if-statement */
while ((len = getline(line, MAXLINE)) > 0)
if (len > max) {
max = len;
copy(longest, line);
}
if (max > 0) /* there was a line */
printf("%s", longest);
What do you do?The preview.
And as others have said, if it's not on Google, how are you going to find the site in the first place? For a Q&A site that really needs to start turning a profit, this is not a trivial issue.
Quora is on Google, and ranks really well on Google for long tail keywords despite the everything but the first answer not being included in Google's index (blurred out). As a matter of fact, I've even gotten a client who came from Google after finding one of my answers.
I know HN loves Quora links, so: http://www.quora.com/How-is-Quoras-SEO-so-damn-good
