Thanks! Appreciate it, and definitely could use some moving forward.

keslert··on The Worst They Can Say Is No
Great read. If you can tell when to apply it, this is a great saying to remind yourself of often.

keslert··on Ask HN: The best way to find remote job
There is currently not a trial option, but it is a 30-day money back guarantee, so if the service doesn't work, you can just let us know and you'll get a full refund. Python/Django work yes, but currently no on the data science.

Same thing as I mentioned in my other comment. Freelancing is sometimes a good fit for people in your position. To help you get on your feet, I created a website called FreelanceInbox.com that is designed to help freelancers find quality leads without having to spend time a lot of time searching.

Have you considered picking up freelance node.js work? I run a website called FreelanceInbox.com that is designed to help freelancers find quality leads without having to spend time a lot of time searching. You could probably handle small projects and develop your skills that way.

Cool story, way to try something you are interested in!
keslert··on Dragdis 3 minute pitch. Feedback needed
This is the only organizational tool I use and it is awesome! Never been one for saving things to say Evernote or Pocket, but because the drag and drop is so intuitive and easy, I use this everyday.
keslert··on Show HN: Snappy Checkout – Stripe Checkout with full-featured dashboard, admin
It looks like it charges $.50 on top of Stripe. When you work with Stripe you still have to write a little bit of code to request the charge from your backend. SnappyCheckout looks to be a wrapper around Stripe (and Paypal) that takes care of that extra code you would normally have to write.
keslert··on Two habits of budding entrepreneurs
Some insightful comments. I think another habit of successful entrepreneurs is knowing when to give up and when to power through.
keslert··on Dragdis – Drag and drop anything anywhere
I'm in love with Dragdis and I hardly know you.

I've never been really gotten into Evernote or Pocket, but this had me hooked from the very beginning. So brilliant, yet simple, and thus far the experience has been flawless.

keslert··on The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Why it pays to be kind
Interesting perspective on kindness. Worth a read!
keslert··on Amazon Code Ninjas
It's interesting, but your chances of getting a job are very dependent on how well you perform during the 30 minutes they throw small algorithmic questions at you. This isn't to say that alone will get you a job, but if you bomb that part of the interview, it's basically over.
