Then maybe group them on a domain with subdomains or just subpages?

Not really with crypto, if you use a a not forever secure crypto algo.

kenniskrag··on GitLab 15.5
They are writing an import function im this pull request.

I think the code an pull requests are easy migrated manually. The 2k open issues would have to be cleaned up first. Then migrate the remaining issues via api. One issue could be the non existing user on the import side.

kenniskrag··on GitLab 15.5
even the gitea people are using github for development. The reason they mention on the migration issue is, that not all features needed are ready. They e.g. implemented issue deletation a few months ago.

kenniskrag··on Ask HN: Why is airfare so expensive in Africa?
> Blame a combination of protectionist legal barriers and regulatory hurdles, mixed with inadequate infrastructure, high taxes, and stubborn nationalism… Countries across the continent have displayed protectionist tendencies to limit others’ access to their own airspace. Those instincts began a generation ago, when newly independent nations sought to assert themselves by creating national airlines, and continue today… The problem is compounded by the generally poor state of Africa’s transportation infrastructure… Various fees and tax schemes also contribute to big-ticket prices.

> The region’s endeavor to liberalize intra-continental air transport service and create a single market in Africa has been long coming and slow going. In 1988, African states agreed to principles of air services liberalization, in the Yamoussoukro Declaration. In 1999, in the Yamoussoukro Decision, 44 members of the African Union signed their commitment to “deregulate air services, and promote regional air markets open to transnational competition.” In 2018, the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) was launched, with participation from 33 African states, laying the framework for the implementation of the Yamoussoukro Decision. But as a quick Google Flight search will affirm, there has been little implementation.

kenniskrag··on Handshake – Decentralized naming and certificate authority
then someone has to mine two blocks?

How are they linked together. E.g. I haven't much luck to mine a bitcoin block and will others put data inside the bitcoin blockchain for me? If it is the other way around there should be some kind of auth?

kenniskrag··on Handshake – Decentralized naming and certificate authority
small PoW networks are prone to takeovers. E.g. one actor decidea to use his asics to take over the network for a few blocks.
kenniskrag··on New Arizona law makes it illegal to film within 8 feet of police
I could imagine if you arrest one person and some people walk towards you they don't know if the just film or want to attack. I as police would need one who watch if someone come close and another one who arrest the person.

kenniskrag··on “Magic links” can end up in Bing search results, rendering them useless
yes but for login tokens the bing bot would be able to login none the less. Probably the login url would be in some logs at microsoft or antivirus vendor. It sounds paranoid but basically the url is a cleartext password laying around.
