Stop minimizing things you have accomplished. You think everyone started off at the top. Look at each project or task you completed as a stepping stone to the next and to become better..

Simply put.. Don't try to copy the Jones's.

Would love to see this as well. I'm the creator of the Scala driver and always looking for ways to improve the api.I know you may not be using Scala but having insight on how other devs would use it always helps. Plus I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do change feeds hehe.

How does this differ from Restangular?

I really need to add changefeed support to the Scala lib. Should be a fun weekend.

Man I remember typing in program code line by line before I got the connector to sync programs.

Doh, its too early.

My last upgrade only cost $99, didn't know the upgrade to new versions was this much.

Maybe I should go back and get my heart checked. Last year I found out I had a silent heart attack at one point(had to do some physical for insurance first time I've went to the doctor in about 8+ years). I was 27 at the time. I do remember one time in college having sharp pain in my left arm and all the signs of a heart attack, at the time I was doing some PT for a class and the instructor thought I was playing around trying to get out of it.

Yeah thats true. There is a small penalty for that. Been trying to figure out what I can write off cause my overhead is low , can't do car, or office stuff cause I dont buy any and all the normal stuff you would write off.

I went through this last year with the birth of our second son. My wife was making sure that everything would be taking care for talking to HR multiple times and they all saying she would be fine. Come time for her to take time off we were presented with a whole other story. First she would't get all the weeks off because she went into labor a week early then expected and to top that she wouldn't be getting paid over the summer (She worked as a school RN at this time). So we were out 5 months of income. Luckily I gotten into a bad habit of placing all the money I will need for my taxes at years end into my account and just not touching it. Well that bad habit saved us for sure, but now the taxes are a pain in the ass. I guess that's life.

Couldn't they do what IntelliJ does and spin off some threads to handle the work in the background ?

As someone that doesn't do iOS development it boggles my mind that you guys have to build this feature into your apps.

This took to long to happen, Congrats for them.

I can see this working on Android with a custom Classloader but how would this work on iOS

Is it possible to have native JSON parsing with JNI bindings to make parsing faster, or will the overhead cancel out any boost in performance?

Were was this a month ago. Had to do this for Play!, great work.

Man, me and the wife are dealing with this right now (didn't read yet). One company sold to another to keep it going. We got it off but now the next company is trying to collect so we have to go through it again, but not until it hits her credit. Just BS if you ask me.

This right here, If it wasn't for my uncle getting me into computers I don't I would ever had thought to see a career in computers let alone development. If we want to be frank I know when I was growing up (only 28), playing around with computers as a black child was something that "blacks didn't do". It was hard to find any blacks computer teachers, mentors or owners that you could access easily in the tech area and the stigma of being a "nerd" was something the culture was about to accept. Of course my parents made sure if it was something I wanted to do that they would make sure I had the best education I could to make it happen.

What we lack in the community is for children to see other blacks in a position and think "Hey I can do that". This was something that we didn't have much back then. I still only know a handful of black developers and it may be wrong to say it but sometime when going to conventions and what not I know I sorta feel like a unicorn, after a while you just go with it but its still in the back of your mind.

Someone finally did this, been thinking about an idea similar to this for services think angie's list mixed with this. Great work guys, waiting for the android version to give this a try.
