I have four direct channels of communication with my team. Email, phone/SMS/iMessage, gchat, and Slack. Their team SLA guarantees 99.99% uptime, and their status site [1] indicates 99.999% uptime.

Everyone will always be reachable with effort, even in a group setting. Slack isn't an infrastructure critical component (such as Github or AWS) where 0.001% downtime would effect my business. Slack's utility far outweighs the prospect of a few hours (max) of downtime a month.

Unlike the other two, "frat" has no alternative denotation and is a common alternative to fraternity. By your logic we wouldn't be using "app" or "admin" or "limo" or "memo."

I won't link to them directly, but his accounts on most social networks are not deactivated, are publicly viewable and all mention bitcoin in the bio. In the wake of DPR 1.0 I find this a bit hubristic.

Disconcertingly, this doesn't show up in Software Update on my machine running 10.10, but that may be because I'm on the beta. Is this being pushed to the App Store/Software Update for OS' < 10.10?
