So I converted the PDF form into modern, browser-friendly web forms - and kept every field 1:1 with the original. You fill the form, submit it, and get the official USCIS PDF filled.

What Fillvisa does:
- Fill USCIS forms directly in your browser - no Adobe needed
- 100% free
- No login/account required
- Autosave as you type
- Local-only storage (your data never leaves the browser)
- Clean, mobile-friendly UI
- Generates the official USCIS PDF, ready to submit
- Built-in signature pad
I just wanted a fast, modern, free way to complete the actual USCIS form itself without the PDF headaches. This is a beta version
That list is quite exhausitve. I decided to pick the most frequently used forms. I referred https://citizenpath.com/uscis-forms/ and picked their list ;)
USCIS forms still use XFA PDFs, which don’t let you edit in most browsers. Even with Adobe, fields break, and getting the signature is hard.

It mimics the official USCIS forms but autosaves locally, validates inputs, and lets you download a ready-to-submit PDF - no signup, no uploads, no tracking.
It’s meant for travelers and immigrants who just need to fill a form once, and as a side effect, it’s become a great acquisition funnel for my paid B2B product, VisaSimplify, which helps immigration lawyers automate client intake and PDF mapping.
I'm a software engg. from India, and I host study groups where we study online courses together.
I'll be starting the groups soon. All groups will be hosted on Discord. We will have separate groups on the following courses:
1. Java Programming: Solving Problems with Software
2. Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)
3. Odin Project - Foundations Course
Format: Each week, members go through the course material. We will conduct the group on Discord. We discuss the course materials, solve the weekly quizzes, and have a real peer-review session of our assignments.
All the groups last between 4-6 weeks.
Target Audience: No Prerequisites
All the courses are beginner centric.
Anyone who is interested in switching to web dev/ Java/ Python, the courses would lay a solid foundation + you will have a portfolio to share.
If you are interested: https://moocable.com/groups
P.S: Kindly let me know if such posts are allowed on HN or not. If it's cool, I can share new groups periodically.
I'm so happy with all your responses. Thank you.
As you said, I now want to focus on marketing and getting more users.
These are the closest established alternatives.
Then, there's - https://www.mooclab.club/ - https://my.cuddy.app/
These are niche alternatives.
I believe this is done by Cloudflare, for protection against DDoS attacks. Let me know if the problem persists. And, can you possibly try with another browser? That will help me understand the problem better.
Thanks for the subreddit idea. I intend to share Moocable on multiple subreddits. Don't know if a subreddit will recommend us, but I'll try :)
I keep explaining the name to my friends. I guess most people don't know the abbreviation "MOOC".
They are like "Oh, it's Moo-cable?..."
I'm like "No, it's MOOC-able"
Cause you are able to complete the MOOCs.
Then, they ask "Oh, I see. Now, what's a MOOC?"
Regarding critical mass - you are right, it will take time.
I'm also trying to provide users a solo-player experience, where you can Moocable as a directory/search website for new learning material, just like Classcentral.com
Hopefully, that will bring decent traffic and users can start posting study groups
I have come across multiple subreddits + niche forums/websites that try to solve this problem. But, I felt something was missing. I couldn't put my finger on it.
Then, I realized...it was "specificity". By adding constrains (course/book, timezones...) you can have clear goals - and, hopefully - better outcomes.
