jst1fthsdys··on Show HN: I couldn't afford interview prep, so I built a free alternative
The timed aspect is pretty discriminatory too. God forbid you have ADHD or anxiety.
jst1fthsdys··on DHS 'Predictive Policing' Unit Is Analyzing Americans' Financial Habits
Pretty much everything is self serving using that definition. Clean up trash in a park? Self serving. Donate money to the poor? Self serving.
jst1fthsdys··on Flock used >100 times to track veteran who recorded traffic stop
200k kids are kidnapped each year (overwhelmingly by family) but hey they stopped a small percentage so we should all give up our rights to the government. You’re a fool.
jst1fthsdys··on Flock used >100 times to track veteran who recorded traffic stop
> Of course lawsuits solve a problem. Reduce the incentive to do it. Remove the bad actors.

No they don’t. This is an ignorant statement to make knowing the history of lawsuits against police and how little to no effect that’s had on police abuse of power.

It’s just like gambling: who gives a shit if you’re playing with someone else’s money.

jst1fthsdys··on Top Pentagon Official Contracted Personal Lawyer to Handle Minerals Deal
Trying to establish ties with decent people in my community, physically staying in shape, training and learning. Ultimately, you have very little control over things when something large like government/societal collapse happens. All you can do is put yourself in a position where you can try to adapt to whatever may come.
jst1fthsdys··on Milo Yiannopoulos was 'terrified' by the 'brutality' of his ICE deportation
Yeah, he got the expedited process and still whines like this. And will still support it going forward.

They should’ve renditioned him to a country where he had no legal status. But that’s reserved for the browns only.

jst1fthsdys··on TikTok CEO says over two dozen Jewish organizations are telling them who to ban
Thanks for your deep insight into this. I’ll be sure to take it into consideration. Btw do you have any signed copies of your Shopify book?
jst1fthsdys··on TikTok CEO says over two dozen Jewish organizations are telling them who to ban
So now you can't even dislike or be critical of an ideology that not all jews believe without being an antisemite? That just increases real antisemitism.
jst1fthsdys··on TikTok CEO says over two dozen Jewish organizations are telling them who to ban
Weird, wonder why you see so much antisemitic content despite the intel given by these groups. Meanwhile TikTok made using zionist in a negative way bannable and have tripled the amount of bans since. Huh, real mystery here.
jst1fthsdys··on State of Open Models: Summer 2026 Observations
I had OMP running GLM-5.3 download multiple CSV datasets for fantasy drafts, classify them according to a strategy I am following, and then design a local site I could use for my draft, that would dynamically account for other picks and give a useful overview of what was available for what I had at the time of pick. 4 inputs from me, two related to how I'd run it on draft day. Worked great!

jst1fthsdys··on U.S. sanctions against the A/I Collective
NED bucks are flowing again too.
jst1fthsdys··on U.S. sanctions against the A/I Collective
Oh okay, how about the deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure?

I love how governments (in the west) are absolutely incapable of campaigns of terror.

jst1fthsdys··on The Monstrous Crimes of Ratko Mladic, the 'Butcher of Bosnia'
So he killed a bunch of military aged men? Shelled cities full of civilians? Massacred muslims? And the ICC actually arrested him? Bad timing on his part, I guess. That is all kosher now.
jst1fthsdys··on US sanctions Italian hosting provider Autistici Inventati
Well, they never will be. So that reveals the real intention behind this action, like someone else said: elimination of human rights and political persecution. This has nothing to do with terrorism, since the people doing it are happy to be inflicting terror globally.
jst1fthsdys··on US sanctions Italian hosting provider Autistici Inventati
So, you must support AWS and MS getting sanctioned for supporting the IDF, which has committed many more acts of terror and far worse forms of it. Right?
jst1fthsdys··on [dead]
So why don't they classify the settler groups as terrorists for what they are doing in the West Bank?
jst1fthsdys··on GLM-5.3-Flash
> All the American companies you mentioned still follow American law and regulation. Skirting that blatantly has big consequences.

No, they don’t. This is an absurd statement to make in 2026.

jst1fthsdys··on Electric shock gloves in use by police departments in Bellevue, Omaha
I have bad news about what is considered non lethal. They sell non lethal tank rounds, for instance.
jst1fthsdys··on Electric shock gloves in use by police departments in Bellevue, Omaha
Yeah, the militarization of police and violation of rights never happened under the “opposition” party.
jst1fthsdys··on Field measurements of neighborhood-scale air temperature impacts of data centers
"HB 3546 creates a new classification for data centers, cryptocurrency and other large industrial energy users using more than 20 megawatts, or 20 million watts of power, to pay for their share of electricity use and costs."

https://www.opb.org/article/2025/06/05/oregon-data-centers-c...

jst1fthsdys··on Field measurements of neighborhood-scale air temperature impacts of data centers
Yeah man, I'm sure the largest industrial mfg country in the world is desperate to buy time to outbuild the decaying husk of a mfg country that can't even build the transformers needed to power these data centers.
jst1fthsdys··on Field measurements of neighborhood-scale air temperature impacts of data centers
Better question, why don't they just build them in N. Virginia then?
jst1fthsdys··on One Oakland police officer made $490k in overtime
How many cops or feds do you see being held accountable anymore?
jst1fthsdys··on One Oakland police officer made $490k in overtime
Says a lot if you are a fan of the police union and aren't a cop.

> Someone who is doing wrong hopes to be disciplined.

Between the op and this comment you have to be trolling. Or you are so clueless to how the real world works you are equivalent to a child. Either way you shouldn't post.

jst1fthsdys··on The main way I've seen people turn ideologically crazy (2025)
> I'm pretty confident that I know who killed both of those people. I'm pretty confident that both did it for ideological reasons. I'm pretty confident that both of those ideological reasons would be seen as "left leaning" in the American political spectrum.

One can easily say with as much certainty that it was from fascist infighting, something fascists are well known for. Fuentes was saying some rather incendiary things about Kirk prior to the shooting, after all.

Someone hating UHC and the health care system in this country doesn't mean they are left leaning either. The base level that you can assume is they are sick and driven to extremes by a corrupt and cruel system.

> Generally I find it to be a mark of extremism if you feel that political violence is justified as long as it is done against the other side.

Is it extreme to approve of violence on those who further an agenda of committing violence on a societal level?

> IMO they do not understand what kind of world they are asking for

That is the world we have lived in forever.

> violence against people for ideological reasons sucks and isn't justified. Don't do it.

You might want to get on the line with the government and let them know this. A lot of problems would be solved.

jst1fthsdys··on The US tried to stop cartel money-laundering; devastated mom-and-pop businesses
Damn, what a waste of words. Does nothing but give brain dead examples while ignoring that the phrase is critical of systemic societal issues.

Law and order is the stated intention. The cops not solving crimes for the poor and them beating the poor is the system's purpose.

Instead of noticing that violence isn't applied equally, or that unequal resources are spent enforcing justice for the rich versus the poor, he compares it to carbon emissions from busses. Wow, how insightful.

jst1fthsdys··on The main way I've seen people turn ideologically crazy (2025)
> Charlie Kirk's killer > the guy who killed the United Healthcare CEO.

Allegedly. Neither have been convicted.
