Looks like the same game (Korona) that I used to play when growing up in Finland. Fascinating to read history of it.

Reminds me how bad anti-aliasing on the fonts was back then.

Doomed? Like all other corporations that had been caught on false advertising and frauds?

Another amazing thing about old Nokia phones is the sound when you hear another person talking. I wish they could bring "good telephone" back to these smartphones.

This one? http://www.irradiatedsoftware.com/sizeup/ apparently 12.99usd

Be the sport and send them your suggestions. There was email address in contact section. :)

Nokia lost 17 million euros a day it's market value while Elop was CEO of Nokia. I guess he is going down in the history as one of the worst CEO's. Though, some say he wasn't a mole but was hired to sinking ship but somehow it is hard for me to believe from his actions.

Basically European VC's in hightech are living in SF. Very few are staying here.

I think it is common everywhere to have out of portion experience and education requirements for programming jobs even in USA. I don't have any CS education and nobody has ever asked me about my education. Though, I have been in business since 1997.

I think XSLT is great for templating, I don't see it often in HN. Sadly so many bashing it. But perhaps some day someone makes it cool again. :)

Did you find anything that hasn't mention on this thread?

Bigger company less they care about due dates on the invoice.

I remember some years back Nokia made software SIM but it disappeared from the radar probably due Telcos pressure. Glad we get something to that direction finally.

Actually, is Microsoft really using Slack if they have Lync and Skype?

Looks very promising. I like the idea focusing on Kanban and Scrum and not making to work on everything and that way turning to too complicated.

Angular needs some optimization obviously or maybe the server is just slow? It would be cool to see text complete when writing users stories. Like: As a... Also, poker planning and retrospective tools would be nice to see.

I don't think so.

Slightly off topic, it would be interesting to see how the rents compare to Hong Kong, Tokyo, London etc...

Frontpage talks about chat and opportunity to get wife from Asia. Maybe you should consider go down a bit with ads?

Would be cool to have all Metro/ios/Google design styles merged to one Bootstrap theme and then just on some LESS or JS I could switch view to different device.

Makes sense. If people are using Airbnb as business to rent property it is fair to ask they follow the law by having proper permit.

Are there more d3 based libraries than the ones you mentioned?

Questions about AI asked from Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking. Wow... that is really big honor for Stephen Hawking.

Microsoft bought devices and services and right for Nokia name for few years. I think they need to drop Nokia name from new devices.

I don't think RB was nowhere near where Mercedes is this year. They are unbeatable like Brawn GP was on 2008. Others wont catch them this year. But otherwise very interesting season.

I really like everything on GSA expect the price tag. I am not much fan of Site Search since I have no control on Meta tag level. I wish they would have kept Google Mini as middle layer between GSA and SiteSearch where I was able to control search in custom <meta> tags. Perhaps also they could have put Mini to Virtual Image or cloud instead of having to buy hardware with it just to make it easier.

Well said.

Access to Facebook, that's only thing they really needed in Africa.

This is really great! We are getting better speed to South-America from Europe and maybe it's not even being spied.

The one who cheats in poker thinks everyone else is cheating.

On the other hand Microsoft buying Nokia's phone business in a $7.2 billion seems like good bargain since they are supposedly have more than billion users. WhatsApp is just an App.
