Startup is a modern day slavery.

Sit down, roll up your sleeves and get to it. 2500 commits later and you may get somewhere with this...

Good luck with that.

Good luck with that. I stopped reading TC (AOL) about 4 month ago.

Originally, I was making it graphics rich but then decided against it and went "barebone" http://picasaweb.google.com/sopybeepl/DevScreenshots#5427711...

Beepl http://alpha.beepl.com

Sounds interesting - definitely something I would try out. We played a bit the crm114 on beepl, I have a pretty sweet python wrapper for it if you like to see.. The project sits on http://alpha.beepl.com - we use crm114 to 1) identify most interesting answer, 2) also to identify "good" questions (those seeking an answer) on twitter, 3) to combat spam. http://crm114.sf.net It's a good shit! I say go for it!

Will do. Sorry about that.

You can ask question on twitter, add a #ask hashtag to it and they'll appear on beepl.

Yeah, I disabled this temporarily. I thought it's not a good idea to allow this in the alpha stage.

Although, I really hoped someone will ask some question to give this a try.. It's just a prototype anyway. So thanks again.

Thank you, folks. Great feedback.

It also picks up in_replies to these questions and aggregates them in one place - on beepl that is.

A quick note for those who signed in (thank you for that btw), you can send questions to beepl directly from Twitter simply by adding #ask hashtag to them.

Will do. Thanks!

Sounds good. Our idea is to match relevant questions to you - those in which you expressed the strongest interest. This is what will effectively turn beepl into a question distribution platform. I am hoping to have this in place sometimes next week. Thanks for a great feedback!!

Ouch .. busy server. We have this running off of a single 1GB GoGrid server. :-(

One would really need to sign in and ask a question to experiece this.

Good point. Once you sign in, it allows you to ask questions via twitter, simply by adding #ask hashtag to them. Beepl finds these questions, semantically analyse them, find the experts and the relevant answers and prompts you once it figured out the answer. I will try to communicate it better on the home page. Great feedback, thanks!

PS - please keep in mind this is ALPHA. Things change every day as I'm working on it.

agree

To "build" a repository is 3 mins job in git. I'd still put in your CV once you've built one though. I'm currently considering making switch from the SVN http://goo.gl/Ho66I

but we will make it there.

hi from alpha.beepl.com struggling.

It's not working for me. I get just empty dialog window (chrome).

Django/Python in our case http://alpha.beepl.com
