>screams of extreme incompetence

Not unheard of with the military

Let's not bring back Windows ME

>Records from a federal citizenship verification tool show that just 0.04% of voter verification cases were returned as noncitizens in August 2025.

Seems like this is just one of those "feel-good" laws. A waste of time and money.

Snowden, a true American patriot.

I agree, pretty close to the same thing here in WA state. I'm jealous of you guys up there now.

Yes, 7GW. I can't edit original comment.

The world isn't ready for that.

And on the other end of the spectrum, grand coulee would be ~$1,500/kW in todays dollars.

I looked into this more, and there is quite a bit of seasonal variability to contend with as well.

I wonder why existing hydro isn't utilized to it's potential. For instance, the Grand Coulee Dam has the highest capacity of any power station in the US of almost 7 MW but usually puts out about a third of that.

>blistering Colombian sun.

I'm pretty sure the sun is never "blistering" in Bogota.

True, a terrible patchwork of different state laws makes it very easy to unknowingly violate a law.

Meanwhile gun crime is near record lows, but it's still a "gun violence epidemic"

In Washington state I believe you need to serialize each firearm as well.

It's not illegal to make your own firearm, you just can't sell it.

Anyone in journalism should know not to be using biometrics. I use it, but know how to quickly disable it. If using fingerprint, you can always offer up the wrong digit, a few fails should make it fallback to pin.

I only buy pixel phones for my family now. Never had any issues with them, plus I can run Graphene OS

FWIW, I've been gaming with a 1660 on Nobara OS for the past 3 months w/o issue.

Me too.

You can pre-order it...

I actually used to have(maybe still have?) a LG Xenon

Yes, you can use the "pixel camera" app on GrapheneOS

Most credit unions use "shared branching" which mostly solves ATM access.

>with the Lightning (and the overall EV market) in trouble

What? Global EV sales are up 21% in 2025. Maybe lightning sales are down, but not overall EV sales.

I was able get membership via a family member that works for DoD, non-military.

I just made the jump in November. Gaming pc was the last computer in the house with windows. Now it's an all Linux household, well minus the router on FreeBSD.

It also doesn't help that google have steadily been increasing their market share.

Thanks!

I'd like to set-up/buy a weather station, but I want to avoid vendor lock-in. Preferably integrate with home assistant if possible. Any suggestions?

Great..... another rabbit hole to go down. I have an LG CX and I never knew I could root it. Glad I never gave it internet access.
